Chapter-2 Revenge

Amethyst POV

"They've returned," Nyka stated as she reverted to human shape from her Werewolf form.

"I've been looking forward to this day for the past 21 years. Let them all return to where their deaths were predetermined," I said, fists clenched.

She stood behind me, holding the photographs of my parents. My parents were a couple of royal Werewolfs. Yes, we exist in today's world, but we must remain hidden. Simply because there are people who are dangerous because they are selfish, greedy, and unthankful. They would either kill us or poach us because of our abilities. My parents once controlled the Kingdom of the Werewolfs. However, it was their responsibility to protect the priceless gem soul wisher stone, which grants any wish and makes you everlasting. The Royal Felis family guarded this treasure. However, they turned greedy and assassinated my parents. Since then, I've been living as an orphan. I'm not going to spare them until I've killed every murderer.

“I've requested that their oldest son Devon's engagement be held at the Felis Farmhouse.”

"You performed a fantastic job as the event coordinator."

"I have to go into that farmhouse now."

"I heard they're looking for a housekeeper until the wedding."

"Thank you very much, Nyka." "I feel obligated to find you a buddy like you," she said, and my heart swelled with gratitude.

"We were all family, and this is also my retaliation." She embraced me in a hug and gave me a sorrowful grin. After my parents died, she is the only family I have left.

"Who is your first target?" Nyka interrogated me.

"Devon, the eldest son," I replied.

"However, he was not present on that murderer's night."

"I knew he wasn't there, yet there was something about him that drew me in." I'd like to know why, and second, he'd be a key to my house for the rest of my life."

”All well, then you're going to kill him."

"No. I'm not going to kill him until I'm sure he's also a murderer. We can't kill somebody who isn't guilty. It’s against the Werewolf legendary rule," I said sternly.

She grinned from ear to ear as she kneaded her elbow. "Yes, you will be crowned the Werewolf queen this year."

"First and foremost, I must assassinate those five assassins."

Nyka later went to the Felis farmstead to carry out our plan for tomorrow. I went into my room and looked out the window. His large eyelashes and the lamp light near his bed table fell on his face as he slept blissfully. It accentuated his attractiveness and sped up my heartbeat. Amethyst, just don't forget about your vengeance and divert your attention away from it. With a shake of my head, I exhaled deeply. He abruptly awoke from his slumber and gazed around, as if looking for something. He stepped out of the room after getting out of his bed. He was tight, with furrowed brows and wrinkles around his eyes. I changed into my Werewolf form and chased after him. He strolled into the woods as if he was looking for something. He came to a standstill and his body became tight. I noticed a cat circling beneath a tree. However, I had a different reaction to the cat than usual. And it verified my point when the hue of its eyes changed. It was a mystical cat that had come to set up a trap. I snarled angrily at anybody tried to set traps in my woodland without my permission. Devon turned around to face me after hearing my hisses. In the meantime, the cat began to change shape and turn into an eagle. I was afraid it might attack me, so I swiftly transformed into a gigantic Werewolf. Since our forefathers, the eagle and the Werewolf have been foes. It flew into the Werewolf instead of attacking me. But I forgot about Devon, who was also keeping an eye on me. I frightened him even more, and he began walking backwards. He didn't realize he was on a cliff edge and slipped away. My pulse pumped rapidly, and I shifted back into my human shape without thinking, catching his wrist as he hung over the cliff. I yanked him up and hauled him away from the edge of the cliff. Despite the fact that he was the son of my adversary, I felt a spark when our flesh met.

I introduced him after hauling him up, and I heard some voices chanting Devon's name. At the same time, rain began to pour, allowing me to flee the area. Devon's gaze shifted to the opposite side. Devon's eyes was drawn back to me as I reverted to a Werewolf. When he returned his focus to where I was standing, he was perplexed as to how I had vanished. His family came up to him and gave him an anxious embrace. I was hiding behind the bushes and could clearly hear their voices.

"How did you get here?" Reed had approached him with the question.

"Yes, Devon," his mother Kristen said, tears welling up in her eyes.

"What brought you here?” she asked him the same question.

My gaze was drawn to the three murderers, and my blood was boiling with rage. They were still alive after murdering my parents. They will all be held accountable for their actions in the near future. It's just the beginning; there's a lot more to see. "Dad, I was walking again in my sleep," Devon replied to their query. Why is he deceiving his family? He, like everyone else, is a person with a habit of lying. After hearing his response, they breathed a sigh of relief.

"When I found out you weren't in the house, we all got frightened," Krystle remarked, tears in her eyes. “I am okay ," Devon assured with a smile.

"We should return because Devon is in danger." Twen scowled, his brows furrowed.

"But, dad, I'm fine."

"We're going back, it's over," Twien said, his palm facing Devon. I couldn't let them leave until I completed my plan. They are obligated to remain in the farm house.

"Let's get going." Twen informed his family of his decision. They walked to their car in order to depart the city. "Nyka, it's time to put our plan into action," I remarked through the mental connection.
