Chapter Five (Saraya's POV)

As soon as the motion ceased, I felt bile rush up my throat. I drew back from Dane, and he let me. I rushed to a nearby shrub, bending over and emptying everything in my stomach which wasn't much since I was too nervous to take breakfast before the wedding.

Dane let out a curse, and the hair on my skin bristled, making me to whirled around. And then I saw we were in a clearing in the woods. The ground was covered in thick layers of snow as far as my eyes could see. About a few meters away from where we stood, to our right, were more than a dozen wolves tearing apart something that looked disturbingly human. A bonfire in the middle of the grounds supported my suspicion. My heart slammed hard against the wall of my chest. Blood rushed in my veins so fast that I could hear it in my ears.

"Holy shit!" I muttered. Scared shitless to raise my voice.
