Chapter 38 - Everyone Works For Them

"where is my girlfriend?" I asked when she still stood there shocked at me.

"umh I don't know."

"don't you dare lie to me Sophie. You're already on thin ice with me. So don't you dare." I warned her.

She sighed, "I don't want to worry you. You know how overprotective Anzania is of you. So she is out there looking for the two siblings.. If they even are siblings."

"of fuck!" I said shaking my head, "couldn't you at least wait for me to have breakfast?"

"go and change... I'll make a sandwich." she suggested and I didn't argue.

I immediately ran upstairs and got more comfortable clothes. When I was done I was downstairs within a second. Sophie was holding my hot chocolate and the sandwich she talked about.

" let's go look for them."

God this girl!

She shrugged, "I'm your only option. You can't eat and drive at the same time. I don't think I need to remind you that your girlfriend is a cop."
