7: The alpha king’s possession

I held my breath, trying to figure out what had happened. Still leaning into the kiss, he snaked his arm tighter around my waist and pulled me in even closer.

I could feel the goosebumps trailing along my skin, all my senses lost in that moment. I didn't want it to end.

He pulled away from me, staring directly into my eyes, he tucked my hair behind my ear and lowered his face to mine, I stared directly into his eyes with my heart racing fast. He was so close I could actually feel his hot breath against my skin.

The corner of his lips pulled up into a malicious smirk, "looks like you do want to have something to do with me."

I needed to snap out of whatever trance he'd put me in. "Why are you doing this?" I said, my voice low and whispery.

"What am I doing?" His eyes were fixed on my lips.

I backed away, ignoring the tingles I felt between my thighs.
