Amy was in the car with Kevin, secretly sending a message to Shawn. The message notified him that she was out for lunch with Kevin, but she didn't want Kevin to know that she was messaging Shawn. Shawn received the message while in the middle of an important meeting. In the past, he would have ignored any messages or calls he received while busy. But this time, he stopped to reply to Amy's message, leaving his employees wondering who could be so important that their boss had to interrupt the meeting.
