I can never forget that day. Our love story was written by God. It was made in heaven .“I said, God manifest yourself”. The truth is I really waited upon the Lord for direction.

I had always been anxious about stumbling across a potential husband and even told myself, If I look at him, he will know me because he has seen me in the spiritual realm.

For our couple, marriage was on the cards from that reunion. Don made his intentions clear after proposing. however, the challenge was the fact that he didn’t have a ring. But, being an African man.. He made a plan.

We had to promise each other so we wrote some stuff on the side. We used grass, tied it and used it as a ring. He put it on my finger and told me: I’m proposing today, will you be my wife? Isn’t that the sweetest?

On our wedding day, it was a beautiful encoutrage and the day was exciting. All service providers did their best. For better , for worse. My parents were the happiest in the land. I thank God for that day. July 2019, wow, a day that brought me full commitment, fullfillment and happiness. He is very supportive,loving and faithful. I couldn't ask God for better. Infact if he wanted to remarry me, I would still say yes a million times. He is my everything. I want to encourage u reading this, if u have not met love, u will and even forget those toxic relationships.

Everyone has an admirer and a soulmate. I won't promise the journey will be smooth but atleast you will get there .This is what he wrote on my heart.My love you are the source of my joy, the center of my world and the whole of my heart. Everywhere I look I am reminded of your love. My angel, my life, my entire world, you're the one that I want, the one that I need, let me be with you always, my world and my everything.

I will not lie that it was smooth , no, it was tough. Very tough, very deep, very disheartening for me. I had so many sleepless nights, nuseau, fever, loneliness and even more . I was all alone through out the pregnàncy. No physical, emotional, social, financial support from anyone. I had no one to lean on, to cry too besides God. , What I didn't know was that he was going through tuff times of no employment, he had been bedridden for months. Life was basically unfortunate for him . I felt unloved, uncared for, I was so lonely. At 7months he contacted me and we met. That's when he narrated to him what was happening in his life. , all he was going through. We cried together and from that the day forward, we never looked back. Our baby arrived but his father was broke and jobless but we managed through. One time I took our son to met his grannies. They were so excited and we really spent a good holiday of 2weeks with them.
