Chapter 20 - more to me

Slipping into his shirt he can hear some footsteps coming closer to his door. He listens out for any other sounds when everything goes quiet. His heart starts to race and he gets this tickling feeling in his stomach. His legs feel like jelly as he puts his hand carefully on the door. He can feel the energy radiating through the door but then it starts to fade away as he hears the footsteps leave again.

Insecure and unsure what to do he takes a deep breath. It kind of leaves him gasping for air, wanting more as it sparked a warm feeling inside of him. It was more than that, he didn’t want the feeling to stop. It’s like on a rainy and cold day, when you are yearning for the sun to come out and warm you up. When the sun breaks through the grey clouds and you can see the rays hit right through you, warming you from the core.

He murmurs under his breath “ I still need you.” as he freezes for a moment and his expressions darkens.
