Chapter 5

REVENGE TOUR

Marcus POV

"Jace is here to see you boss." I looked up from my desk to see the announcement from the secretary. I had been expecting him to come since I terminated his contract with the Orlando Empire.

"Very well then, tell him to come inside." I ordered and as soon as the secretary is gone, I pulled out my mask from the drawer.

It is a human mask that I had gotten from China. It was amazing to know that I could mask my identity without anyone knowing who I was.

After I wore the mask, I checked myself out through the camera on my phone and smiled in satisfaction. I clearly looked older than my age, wearing the mask on.

I heard a knock on the door and ordered for him to come inside.

"What is this madness George." I almost chuckled seeing how frustrating he appeared. "Why did you ask the Orlando Empire to terminate my contract?"

"I checked your last sales at the market and they had been poor." I mentioned to him without looking up to meet his gaze.

"This is utterly ridiculous. I told my manager that my album is almost complete. I would soon drop the album, why did you choose to terminate my contract barely days to dropping it?"

"Listen here Jace, things don't work that way. I found out about this new prospect coming up in the industry and signed him almost immediately. He has already made more sales and fetched the label more money for me in the last few days than you ever did since this year started." I got up from my laptop and walk up to meet him.

"You have to understand that eras come and go and I guess yours has just ended."

"This is stupidity at its peak. No one has been at the top of the industry for the last three years other than me. I chose to go on a six month break this year because I was working on an album and what did you do in return? Betray me." He reacted.

"I did what is best for business."

"Damn you for saying that! You did not do what is best for business, you just sabotaged my entire career. You have ruined me!" He flipped over the documents on my desk in anger.

"Control yourself young man or I would be forced to call the security on you." I warned, already getting angry with his antics.

"You know what? I don't think I need your help anymore. I will just stick to my independency and get my own label." He finished off and with one last murderous stare walked out of the office.

As soon as he was out of the office, I retired back to my seat pulling the mask off my face and laughing at him.

Jace had always thought he was the final boss with money. When Amy had informed me to help torture him, I knew where to hit him. If this was Amy's revenge tour, then I am here for it.

I got back to my laptop, pressing away and responding to emails when Amy's call came through my phone once more.

"I was about to call you." I answered. "You need to see the frustration on his face, it was a master piece."

"Marcus! I think I messed up." I heard her soft tone and knew something was wrong.

"What happened?"

"Gwen got under my skin and I shoved her and she landed her head on the counter. Now she is being taken to the hospital." I got up to my feet, grabbing my keys immediately.

"Text me the location of the hospital, I would be there immediately." I assured and hang up afterwards.

When I arrived at the hospital, my eyes landed on Amy seating in silence. On closer look, I noticed her anxiety. She hugged me the moment I approached her, tears dropping down her eyes, as she released herself from the hug.

"I may have killed her." She mentioned, trying to clean up her tears.

"You murderer!" From my back I heard Jace's voice and from his steps I could tell he was unto something dangerous and carefully shielded Amy away from her. "Ofcourse you want to defend her, broke Billonaire."

"I won't tolerate you calling me names in the hospital Jace." I warned in my usual calm demeanor.

"If anything happens to my girl, I swear by the heavens that I would ruin the both of you." It was ironic coming from him. If he knew I was the one who had terminated his contract, he would get infuritated further.

"Jace please it was a mistake. She called me names and called my pregnancy a disgrace." Amy tries to explain from behind.

"Isn't that why you have always been all this years? A disgrace and I find it pitiable that you chose another disgrace to be your husband."

I was tired of his words and picked out my phone and handed it over to Amy, while I whispered to her ears; "Text that number snd and tell them to rally the soldiers, someone is going to get hurt today."

I moved away from her and walked up to Jace.

I was well aware that public was watching, but I was not inclined to give them the juicy story that they need, especially the bloggers around.

"I demand an apology for this."

"Would you both snap out of it already!" I looked away from Jace to Sylvia, who I did not know had been watching.

The doctor made his way forward and we all rushed to meet him, especially Amy who was frustrated.

"Doctor, what do we have on our hands?" Sylvia asked.

"Your daughter will be fine, just minor accident around her head. She is going to be perfectly fine." I felt Amy calm down beside me, as soon as the announcement was made.

"You are lucky she is alright, I would have thrown the both of you in jail." Jace mentioned.

At that moment, I heard the sound of armoured truck making their way into the premises of the hospital and the public diverted their attention to the soldiers, who had inside the hospital premises.

"Are you sure this isn't going to kill him?" Amy whispered to my ears, as the soldiers approached us.

"You don't have to worry sweetheart, I just need to teach him a lesson."
