No matter how hurt and disappointed I was with Vector for what he did, I knew that I still needed to see him.

It was worse going out to public places now, because of the stares I now got, which was as a result of the news that Ivy spread about me. I would have sent a message to debunk it, and even recruit Doctor Jones to disclaim it, since everyone knew that he was my doctor, but then again, that wasn’t the biggest problem in my life right now.

Alexa was back in Paris, and she would definitely be filing that case against me, and with Oscar murdered, it would get messier.

So I needed to focus on the case, and I needed to see Vector.

I arrived at the station and waited for Vector to be brought into the interrogation room. The moment he was brought, we stared at each other, each holding something in mind against each other.

I wondered what Vector would have in mind against me when I was supposed to be the angry one.
