A suicide attempt
Elijah picked Grace in his arms and they rushed her to the nearby hospital. The doctors did various tests on her and then told them that it was caused due to fatigue and starvation. Her body was extremely fragile and her mental condition was also not very good, taking note that she had a panic attack earlier, she had taken an overdose of the pills and this had led to her fainting and had affected her body badly. If this overdose continued she might have even severe panic attacks than what happened that day or even a heart attack.

The doctors gave her medicine and reviewed her condition from time to time for the next two days. Her condition was stable and so was her mental health for she was in such a positive atmosphere. Cora didn't leave her side the whole time and tried different ways to make her smile.
