Amelia's POV

After the rollercoaster night that I had, I was not very surprised when I woke up to the sound of the alarm clock almost immediately the next morning.

Taking a deep breath, I was already dreading what horrors today might bring to me when I remembered what had happened in the kitchen yesterday. With Damien. The Alpha who was too handsome and had a face that could scare the living daylights out of a person if he so wished.

I remembered how his hand had wrapped around my neck and how my body had come alive with fear and something else that till now I could not quite describe, how his eyes had darkened with rage as he asked me who had touched me.

Slapping my forehead to stop myself from daydreaming, I quickly showered and left my room, heading to Cassius' room first like I always did every morning.
