Ansiel retreats back into my mind and with him my wings also retracted. I look around the room just to see if there is anything of importance. Maybe I can take something to make it look like a robbery gone bad, but no police will believe that this was done by a human. All I can do now is hope that no evidence leads them back to us, to me.
I was hit by the realization that I let my only guide back to the territory go back without me. I can always turn into my wolf and run back, but I don't have a clue where I am going. I walk out of the room and take a deep long breath. How the hell am I going to get back home? This is a nightmare.
