Chapter 18 – A meeting with Prince Charming (2)

Reyna froze by the door as she walked in, looking over at Rodrigo, he looked so imposing that she was too scared to move closer to him. She felt Mr. Reynolds arm on her back, she turned to look at him.

“Let’s go take a seat”, he nudged her as he spoke.

“Yes, sure”, Reyna tried to answer him, but it came out as a whisper.

He looked at her, with a worried look on his face but before he could ask her if she was ok, Rodrigo spoke. “Can you both please have a seat I don’t have all day. I have a busy day ahead”.

They both rushed over to his desk and took a seat on the chairs in front of the desk. Reyna looked down, she didn’t want to make eye contact with Rodrigo.

“Ms. Vasquez, look at me when I’m speaking”, he spoke with a menacing tone. Reyna jerked her head up after hearing his tone and looked straight into his eyes. She was lost for a minute, but she recovered quickly, she smiled and apologized for looking down.
