Chapter 84 – Showtime

I’m mulling things over in my head, I hear Rodrigo faintly cursing. We both are trying to figure out what is this woman up to. We know she must be plotting but all the avenues we explore lead to a dead end.

We pulled up at the venue, I see the extra security has arrived and I feel a sense of relief. At least the guest and the function will be guarded to the max. She is one of the esteemed guests and so we can’t block her from attending, all we can do is keep a tight grip on the happenings and try and prevent any type of catastrophe from occurring.

We marched into the hall, side by side, me still checking the security details on my Ipad and Rod was busy on his phone, chatting to Maria to make sure everything was fine from her side, trying not to give too much away in the process.
