Shanaya Oberoi
It is been 4 days since I have moved in this apartment and the office encounter was my last encounter with that rock.
Thankfully!
I was just going to leave for my dance class.
I am a trained kathak dancer. I teach dance for free to those who can't afford spending money on learning dance but have the desire to.
I have this class twice a week. Mostly on weekends.
There are lots of students in my class. From a 4 year old girl to a 50 year old lady. I do it because I enjoy dancing a lot. I just feel extremely happy by knowing the fact that I get to train them for free.
Just when I was locking my apartment I heard footsteps from behind.
I groaned knowing exactly who it is.
I turned around and he turned around at the same time. I quickly moved towards the elevator and pressed it's button.
He stood beside me and we were waiting for the elevator to come.
God! Where is it stuck?
I pressed the button again.
"You know, the elevator is not going to magically appear before us just because you are pressing the button twice." He said rolling his eyes at me.
"Why do you want to get into an argument with me this early in a morning, sir?" I asked smiling very sweetly at him.
"Cut the crap, Dr. Oberoi." He said putting his hands inside his pockets.
Why is he soo hot?
"Huh?" I asked him confused.
"Stop calling me sir. I know you have better names to call me. But we can settle on my first name." He said irritated.
"No!" I said horrified.
"You are the trustee of the college where i study. I don't think it is appropriate to call you by your first name." I said and the elevator dinged.
Thank god!
We entered the elevator and he said "Did you not remember I was the trustee when you practically threatened me that you would see me later!" He said narrowing his eyes at me.
"Ohhh! Quit talking, Sir. You looked absoultely fine with your mouth shut." I said embaressed.
"Ohh yeah, and now I am not your college's trustee when you are asking me shut up?" He said chuckling.
What's wrong with him?
He chuckled!
Like actually chuckled!
Woah!
"Fine! I did not know you were the trustee. And honestly you deserved it." I said and we reached the ground floor.
As soon as the doors opened I quickly ran towards my scooty and left.
I reached the locality and before I could park my scooty it stopped.
I tried to start it again but it was all in vain.
Groaning I just got down and parked it nearby anyways I was almost near my destination.
My phone started ringing and it was Daksh.
"Hello, my bully elder brother." I said chuckling.
"Hello to you too, my baby sister." He said chuckling.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Just came for the dance class but my scooty broke down before I could park it." I said whining.
"What? Why didn't you tell me? I'll come pick you up and drop you home. Just call me after you're done." I rolled my eyes at him.
He and his overprotectiveness!
"I can take a cab you know." I said irritated.
"Shana, For once stop being stubborn! I am going to come. That's it!" He said and hung up on me.
Stomping my feet I climbed the stairs and made my way towards the terrace where I take my class. The girls were already waiting for me.
Aarav Kapoor
"I really regret telling you to pick me up for our brunch today morning." I said groaning.
"What? I know my sister is annoying but why this reaction?" He asked laughing.
"She is soo irritating. I can't even tell you. And I don't know why we keep crossing paths." I said again groaning.
"She isn't that bad you know. Just a bit fiesty." He said chuckling. He adores her a lot. He will ofcourse she is his sister.
Hell! I adore my sisters to no extent no matter how annoying and interfering they are.
I just looked around when Daksh stopped the car.
"Why are we here? Don't tell me she comes here?" I asked shocked.
It looked like a small chawl area. Though the place was really clean and there were very few houses but still it was not safe for her.
She is an oberoi for god' sake!
Daksh just looked at me and smiled saying "She teaches them dance because she knows those girls love dancing but there parents are never going to pay money or allow them to go too far for dance training. So she comes here instead"
"What?" I asked shocked.
I thought being the only daughter in the oberoi family she was spoiled rich princess who would never even step a foot in such area.
But then we are talking about Shanaya Oberoi here and she is full of susprises.
I thought chuckling.
"She isn't picking her call. Can you just go and call her. She is there up on the terrace." He said pointing me towards a small house's terrace.
I just nodded and got out of the car.
I climbed the wooden staircase.
The stairs are going to fall any second due to my weight!
When I reached the terrace, I opened the door and the scene just mesmerised me.
She was dancing wearing a while long kurti and a pink dupatta draped around her waist.
I just leaned against the door and watched her with a smile on my face.
The view is mesmerising!
Just then she stopped and was giving some instructions to the girls and I realised what I was doing.
"What's wrong with me?" I muttered.
When I looked she was walking towards me with her bag on one of her shoulder.
"Sir, you're here?" She asked shocked.
"Yeah. Daksh is waiting for you in his car. I came to call you, you weren't picking your call." said to her and she smiled at me.
Girl! Stop smiling like that!
"Ohh I am sorry. I didn't see my phone actually. Let's get going." She said and walked ahead.
"I don't understand how can you come here for them? I mean these stairs looks like they are going to break any second and this whole area is a bit shady." I said getting down the stairs carefully so that I won't fall.
"If me coming here and teaching them gives them happiness about learning what they love then I think I can ignore all the cons of this situation." She said chuckling.
My lips curved into a small smile listening to her.
For the first time we were having a normal conversation.
"Those girls can't afford a dance class but love it. So why not? I don't think I am going to lose my grace by teaching them dance." She said smiling.
It really does make her happy!
"It is nice you have something in your life which makes you happy." I said walking towards Daksh's car.
I was a bit jealous of how happy she seemed by doing this small gesture.
Because I don't have anything in my life that could make me smile like that.
Aarav Kapoor We were seated in Daksh's car. I was sitting on the backseat and she was seated on the passenger seat while he drove. Currently they were having this absurd argument over which song to play in the car. "I am really not interested in your pop music!" Shanaya yelled on the top of her voice. God! I'll turn deaf! "And I am not interested in your romantic music." Daksh said rolling his eyes. "If you both don't stop arguing this instant, I'll just jump out of the car!" I said irritated. "Yess please do the honours, sir." Shanaya said smiling very sweetly at me. I just narrowed my eyes at her. "Too much for respecting me!" I muttered. "We've reached." Daksh announced. &nbs
Shanaya OberoiThat arrogant bastard! How dare he call me a kid?Do I look like a kid ?I entered the department and kept my bag. I saw chirag working on his laptop.I went towards him huffing"Chirag! Do I look like a kid?"I asked and he looked at me baffled."What? Are you high on weed early morning?" He asked me shocked.I just glared at him and then Dr.Kapoor ma'am entered the department so we wished her.We entered her cabin to report her for the day."You should start working on your thesis.Atleast select the topic on which you have to work on. It would reduce your work load in your Third year." She said and we all no
Aarav KapoorIt is been 3 days since I saw the annoying girl. And I don't know why am I thinking about her!God! Help me!Currently I was reviewing some paper work of the hospital in my cabin and there was a knock at the door."Come in." I said.Mom entered in my cabin with a smile on her face."May I have a few minutes of your busy schedule, Sir?" Mom asked taunting me because I did not meet her since 3 days as I did not come to the college.I just rolled my eyes at her drama and gestured her to sit."Aarav, stop working. I have something important to talk to you." She whined."Okay." I said and kept the file aside."You just turned 29 a mont
Shanaya OberoiToo much embarrassment for a day!Hot?He does really look hot!But that doesn't mean I bluntly admit it on his face.He cleared his throat and said "Where do you have to go?"The moment my eyes laid on him I started laughing."You're blushing! I never knew you could blush." I said between my laughs. He looks so cute!"I never thought I am going to see the great Aarav Kapoor blushing." I said and started laughing again."That's enough for today. Just tell me where do you have to go. Otherwise I am kicking you out of my car this instant." He said glaring at me."As if I am scared of you. You've gave your word to Daksh that you are going to take care of me."
Aarav KapoorI stood there irritated as Shanaya came and stood behind me clutching my shirt tightly in her fists and said"What are you looking at? Please! Do something about it. I hate them.""What to do you take me as? I don't know what to do to make that lizard go away." I said rolling my eyes."Aarav! For the hundreth time I am telling you this. Don't take the creepy creatures name!" She said annoyed.Where am I stuck? Why did I even bother to come here to return her sling bag at the first place? She peeked through my shoulder and started screaming "Oh my god! Aarav it is moving. Shit! Shit! Shit!" She just buried her face in my back and I stiffened.&nb
Aarav KapoorToday was the most dreadful day. I had to attend this anniversary party of my mom and so called Dad.The only good thing about it was I'll get to meet my sweetheart. My elder sister. My mom insisted me to come home at morning itself and I had to agree because she was being the typical indian mom by blackmailing me with her tears!I was walking down the staircase of our home or our mansion I might say. It was beautiful like a house you would always dream about having. But these stairs, these walls reminded me my childhood. Reminded me how I've never experienced father's affection.I don't know how does it feel when your father looks up to you with proud eyes.Don't dream too much! You're never going to have that!It was true. I have made peace with the fact. And honestl
Shanaya OberoiWe were all sitting in our regular cafe and laughing our asses off."There is this one girl who is trying to woo my mom so that she could make me marry her." Ayaan said and we all laughed again.Ayaan was talking about some girl who was stalking him and also had started talking to his mother."Aww..! I think you should get married to her. Aunt is definitely going to get you married with her." Shruti started teasing him."I think I should tell mom about it. She'll convince Aunt, naa." Shruti again said laughing."Dare you tell anything to Aunt, Shruti. I'll kill you." Ayaan said glaring at her."Oh come on..! The poor girl is making so many efforts to get married to you. What is the problem?" Myra asked laughing.
Aarav Kapoor"Abhi, I think you should stop with your flirting with Ahana. She is pregnant, for fuck's sake." Daksh tried to put some sense in him."Ohh please. Do you think I don't know how their marriage is falling apart? He is cheating on her for god's sake! But that stubborn woman won't believe it." Abhi said taking a sip of his coffee."One chance. Just one chance and I am going to jump into her life again. Doesn't matter if she approves or not. Doesn't matter if she is pregnant with her husband's child." Abhi said staring into space."Stop talking about my sister as if I am not sitting right beside you." I said glaring at him.Daksh's phone rang and he excused himself.Just then we heard something breaking. And my first thought was
