The view is mesmerising!

Shanaya Oberoi

It is been 4 days since I have moved in this apartment and the office encounter was my last encounter with that rock.

Thankfully!

I was just going to leave for my dance class.

I am a trained kathak dancer. I teach dance for free to those who can't afford spending money on learning dance but have the desire to.

I have this class twice a week. Mostly on weekends.

There are lots of students in my class. From a 4 year old girl to a 50 year old lady. I do it because I enjoy dancing a lot. I just feel extremely happy by knowing the fact that I get to train them for free.

Just when I was locking my apartment I heard footsteps from behind.

I groaned knowing exactly who it is.

I turned around and he turned around at the same time. I quickly moved towards the elevator and pressed it's button.

He stood beside me and we were waiting for the elevator to come.

God! Where is it stuck?

I pressed the button again.

"You know, the elevator is not going to magically appear before us just because you are pressing the button twice." He said rolling his eyes at me.

"Why do you want to get into an argument with me this early in a morning, sir?" I asked smiling very sweetly at him.

"Cut the crap, Dr. Oberoi." He said putting his hands inside his pockets.

Why is he soo hot?

"Huh?" I asked him confused.

"Stop calling me sir. I know you have better names to call me. But we can settle on my first name." He said irritated.

"No!" I said horrified.

"You are the trustee of the college where i study. I don't think it is appropriate to call you by your first name." I said and the elevator dinged.

Thank god!

We entered the elevator and he said "Did you not remember I was the trustee when you practically threatened me that you would see me later!" He said narrowing his eyes at me.

"Ohhh! Quit talking, Sir. You looked absoultely fine with your mouth shut." I said embaressed.

"Ohh yeah, and now I am not your college's trustee when you are asking me shut up?" He said chuckling.

What's wrong with him?

He chuckled!

Like actually chuckled!

Woah!

"Fine! I did not know you were the trustee. And honestly you deserved it." I said and we reached the ground floor.

As soon as the doors opened I quickly ran towards my scooty and left.

I reached the locality and before I could park my scooty it stopped.

I tried to start it again but it was all in vain.

Groaning I just got down and parked it nearby anyways I was almost near my destination.

My phone started ringing and it was Daksh.

"Hello, my bully elder brother." I said chuckling.

"Hello to you too, my baby sister." He said chuckling.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"Just came for the dance class but my scooty broke down before I could park it." I said whining.

"What? Why didn't you tell me? I'll come pick you up and drop you home. Just call me after you're done." I rolled my eyes at him.

He and his overprotectiveness!

"I can take a cab you know." I said irritated.

"Shana, For once stop being stubborn! I am going to come. That's it!" He said and hung up on me.

Stomping my feet I climbed the stairs and made my way towards the terrace where I take my class. The girls were already waiting for me.

Aarav Kapoor

"I really regret telling you to pick me up for our brunch today morning." I said groaning.

"What? I know my sister is annoying but why this reaction?" He asked laughing.

"She is soo irritating. I can't even tell you. And I don't know why we keep crossing paths." I said again groaning.

"She isn't that bad you know. Just a bit fiesty." He said chuckling. He adores her a lot. He will ofcourse she is his sister.

Hell! I adore my sisters to no extent no matter how annoying and interfering they are.

I just looked around when Daksh stopped the car.

"Why are we here? Don't tell me she comes here?" I asked shocked.

It looked like a small chawl area. Though the place was really clean and there were very few houses but still it was not safe for her.

She is an oberoi for god' sake!

Daksh just looked at me and smiled saying "She teaches them dance because she knows those girls love dancing but there parents are never going to pay money or allow them to go too far for dance training. So she comes here instead"

"What?" I asked shocked.

I thought being the only daughter in the oberoi family she was spoiled rich princess who would never even step a foot in such area.

But then we are talking about Shanaya Oberoi here and she is full of susprises.

I thought chuckling.

"She isn't picking her call. Can you just go and call her. She is there up on the terrace." He said pointing me towards a small house's terrace.

I just nodded and got out of the car.

I climbed the wooden staircase.

The stairs are going to fall any second due to my weight!

When I reached the terrace, I opened the door and the scene just mesmerised me.

She was dancing wearing a while long kurti and a pink dupatta draped around her waist.

I just leaned against the door and watched her with a smile on my face.

The view is mesmerising!

Just then she stopped and was giving some instructions to the girls and I realised what I was doing.

"What's wrong with me?" I muttered.

When I looked she was walking towards me with her bag on one of her shoulder.

"Sir, you're here?" She asked shocked.

"Yeah. Daksh is waiting for you in his car. I came to call you, you weren't picking your call." said to her and she smiled at me.

Girl! Stop smiling like that!

"Ohh I am sorry. I didn't see my phone actually. Let's get going." She said and walked ahead.

"I don't understand how can you come here for them? I mean these stairs looks like they are going to break any second and this whole area is a bit shady." I said getting down the stairs carefully so that I won't fall.

"If me coming here and teaching them gives them happiness about learning what they love then I think I can ignore all the cons of this situation." She said chuckling.

My lips curved into a small smile listening to her.

For the first time we were having a normal conversation.

"Those girls can't afford a dance class but love it. So why not? I don't think I am going to lose my grace by teaching them dance." She said smiling.

It really does make her happy!

"It is nice you have something in your life which makes you happy." I said walking towards Daksh's car.

I was a bit jealous of how happy she seemed by doing this small gesture.

Because I don't have anything in my life that could make me smile like that.
