Chapter 31

I started looking around the room; it looked similar to where David was being tortured. The walls were covered in lime stone and there was a small, black coal grill in the middle of the floor that was lit. The flames danced off the grill almost as if they were able to just get up and walk out on their own. Along the wall, there were more restraints. From silver chains, to barbed wire all along the wall as if Dimietry had made his own torture chamber. Over in the corner there was a bed with large spikes coming out of it, then off on the other side was a bear trap.

Closer to me there was a table covered with all kinds of weapons. Rusty old swords and knives rested on the table next to a club and a hammer. A scalpel lay next to a pair of hair cutting scissors and a bayonet. My heart started pounding again as I heard noises of someone talking to someone else coming from outside the room. I couldn’t understand what they were saying but I had a feeling it wasn’t good for the three of us in
