They’d arrive at the castle at half the time from before because of the captain's efforts, along the way she had managed to tell the concerns of the maids that have been plaguing her mind, along with some other problems that she knew needed some attention.
Karilaya had been thinking of the other repercussions that might happen all because of the things that had recently happened, she was sure there was something that she was missing along the way. The problem is she couldn’t really see what it was.
“Do not worry about the guards, my lady, I will immediately look into it,” The captain informs her as he was dismounting from his steed.
They had just arrived at the castle but were still waiting for all the knights, the only people that were behind them was the carriage that carried nana and Soraya. She could not help but look past the man, trying to see what was behind him, trying to see what happened

Karilaya felt a bit of the weight on her shoulders lighten. Seeing as one by one the townspeople were being released from their ropes and set free from their cages. She along with nana and Soraya stood firm, keeping an eye on the imperial soldiers, making sure that they didn’t do any more harm to the beaten-down men. It was already mid-morning when they got to the place within the outer castle walls, the captain along with several of the workers he took along, started clearing out several of the debris that was scattered all over the place. The man was also helping along some of the laborers to hasten things, even going so far as having some of his knights help out.
