Sovia’s POV

“Sovia! Sovia!”

That voice. I recognised it immediately. It came from deep inside my head.

It was my wolf. She was calling out to me. I turned. The space was dark. Almost too dark, like a void, and that feeling of numbness crept along my spine.

“I can hear you.”

But no matter how I tried, I couldn’t make out her form. How she looked.

It was as though there was an invisible wall between us.
