Chapter 15: Fond Memories
It wasn’t long before Logan regained control and grabbed Cassidy before making a swift exit. The sheriff appeared to assess the damage and asked everyone not to go anywhere while he worked. Charles showed up suddenly as well in a frantic state before he rushed to Jill’s side making sure she was ok. As tears streamed down her face she couldn’t help but smile. As the sheriff escorted them to a nearby park that he evacuated, Wren stopped and asked Noah to talk to him alone. Dylan went ahead with Jill and Charles even though he felt like a third wheel.
“He’s really alive Charles. After all this time I thought my father was dead inside that thing.” Jill said.
