Chapter 6: Hide My Identity, Jordan!

"Are you sure about that, Carson!?" Logan asked, unable to believe what Carson told him about Brianna's information.

"Yes, Boss. I spent all night gathering all the information about Mrs. Grey!" Carson defended himself.

Logan was just looking at the folder Carson had given him. Only Brianna's name and age were there.

"How did this happen? Did you check where she's from? Who are her parents?"

"Yes, Boss. I've done everything. I've also asked my fellow hackers and investigators for help, but they didn't find anything either," Carson replied.

Logan frowned. He couldn't believe that there was no information about Brianna.

Logan and Carson have known each other for a long time. He already knows his abilities. Carson's connection with hackers is good and big. If he had something investigated, he would receive the results in less than an hour. But today, he spent the whole night looking for Brianna's information, but the result was her name and age!

"Couldn't Mrs. Gray hire a good hacker to hide her information?" Carson asked.

"Even if she hired someone to hide her information, we'll find out who she is, Carson!" Logan replied.

"We had the best hackers and investigators in the country!" he continued.

"You have a point, boss, but we spent the whole night, and we did not find important information about your wife!" Carson answered.

"What you say can't happen, Carson! Do everything you can! Even if you only know the names of her parents!"

"Yes, Boss!"

When Carson got out of the office, Logan took out his smartphone and dialled the number of Brianna.

Brianna doesn't answer her phone. Logan frowned. He kept calling Brianna until he gave up.

He sighed. He was restless because Brianna did not answer his call.

Logan took out his phone again to call Carson.

"Find Brianna," he ordered.

"I will send you her location, Boss," Carson answered.

"Aren't you going to answer Logan's call, Brie?" Jordan asked her.

Brianna was looking at her phone, "No," she answered shortly.

"Maybe he has an emergency or something important to tell you?"

"He's not important, Jordan," Brianna replied.

Brianna powered off her phone so Logan couldn't call her.

"Now, why do you want to see me? Do you miss me?" Jordan asked her with a grin.

"Don't get me started on that style, Jordan!" She said seriously.

"Okay, relax," Jordan surrendered.

"When I found out that you are the wife of Mr. Logan Grey, I couldn't help but be surprised. I didn't think you could marry a man who has nothing to be proud of in life," Jordan said before he drank his water.

"What happened to you, Brei? Why did you leave?" he asked.

"You know the reason why I left and hid, Jordan," Brianna answered.

"Your Dad is looking for you. You're so good at hiding, we couldn't find you!" He informed her.

"I have no intention of going back to him, Jordan. No matter what happens, I will never go near him!" She replied.

"You're not going to tell Dad where I am, are you?"

Jordan knows what makes Brianna mad at her dad. He can't blame Brianna for what happened in her life, in her family.

"Yeah, I understand. But remember, Brei, you and your Dad will meet again!"

Brianna was silent. She knew that she and her Dad would meet again, but as much as possible they should not meet again.

"Can we stop talking about my Dad?" Brianna requested.

"Sure. Now, why did you meet with me?"

"I hid all the information about me, Jordan. Logan doesn't know anything about me. He only knows my name and age," Brianna informed him.

Jordan raised an eyebrow at what Brianna told him.

She married Logan but didn't tell her true identity.

"You want me not to talk about your true identity?" Jordan asked.

"Yes."

"Okay."

After Jordan and Brianna finished eating and talking, they left the restaurant together.

"I'll take you to your house?" Jordan initiated.

"No need, Jordan. Logan might see us," she insisted.

Jordan understood what Brianna said so he didn't insist anymore.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything, Brei. You know you just give me a call and I'll come," Jordan reminded her with a smile.

"Thank you, Jordan. I am very happy to see you again," Brianna replied before Jordan left.

Brianna was left outside the restaurant. He waited for a cab to go home.

Not long after, a cab stopped in front of him. Brianna went inside and said where she was going.

Brianna was sitting quietly in the back of the cab when she noticed that they were walking in a different direction.

Brianna frowned and looked at the driver. The driver was wearing a mask that she had just noticed.

"Take me safely," Brianna ordered the driver.

The driver ignored her. He continued driving.

Logan looked at a cab. He saw Brianna inside.

"I saw Brianna. Follow the cab!" Logan informed and gave the plate number of the cab.

Carson quickly turned and followed the cab that Logan said.

"Where are you going, Brianna?" Logan asked himself while looking at the cab.

As they followed the Cab, Carson couldn't help but wonder. They entered a road that not many cars passed by.

"Boss, I think, there is something wrong," Carson informed him.

"Just follow them," he ordered while looking at the cab.

They left Sunshine City. Tall grass can be seen on the side of the road. It was obvious from the road that no one passed here.

Carson stopped the Car when the Cab stopped. The driver got out and opened the car door. The driver pulled Brianna out and threw her on the road.

Logan's eyes widened at what he saw. Logan quickly got out of the car and went to Brianna.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing!?" Logan asked.

The driver looked at Logan. He didn't move, until three men emerged from the tall grasses on the side of the road.
