Chapter Twenty One

Admetos

As we sat in the seer's home, series of thoughts went through my mind . How to face Arya, How exactly was I going to live with the fact that I imprinted on my best friend's mate and the prophecy we were about to listen to .

We have been waiting for the seer for about an hour now . One of her handmaids came to tell us that she was busy meditating but she asked us to wait . I still wondered how the woman was alive . She was old and haggard when I was little and she still is . It was rumored that she has lived two hundred years .

I could tell my father was tired of waiting . He was anxious . I could sense my father was about to stand up when the seer finally came in .

' Greetings to you Amarok . ' she started calmly look at my father .

' And to you son of Amarok . ' she continued and gave me a narrowed look .

' There hasn't been a prophecy since after their birth . Why now ? ' my father asked getting straight to business .

' I do not know why . All I know is the gods have spoken
