Chapter 5

Damien

Where did you go last night." Lauren shouted. Damien rolled his eyes. "That's none of your business." He hissed. "Oh come one Damien, we had a special night last night. Don't start a fight. Where did you go?" She asked sternly. "Special? You're nothing but a low life whore who is just using me for money. And what we did was not 'special' I just did it cause I'm a guy and what guy would say no to sex? So as far as I'm concerned you were just a fuck. So if you really want to be a queen why don't you marry my father. He could really use a good fuck." Lauren's heart dropped. "W-what?" She asked shockingly. Damien smirked. "Now please get out of my room." He said calmly. Lauren's eyes watered. She ran out of the room sobbing, the servants who were working glancing at her.

Damien sighed sitting down on his bed. He really didn't feel guilty about what he said to Lauren. All the things he said were true.

________

Tierra

Tierra sighed as she sat down on the wooden bench that was placed under a large tree. Her back and feet were aching, not to mention the scars all over her body.

"Hey there!" Tierra jumped but calmed down when she saw Jack. Her long time crush.

"Hey." She whispered her cheeks turning red.

"May I please sit with you?" He asked, a wide smile plastered on his lips. "Uh, sure." Tierra mumbled as she scooted to her right, making space for Jack to sit.

She looked at his green eyes and smiled. His light brown skin shined in the sun, making his green eyes even more beautiful. "So, how's everything?" He asked, snapping Tierra out of her daze. She blushed and turned her head away. "I, uh, I heard what happened." Tierra frowned and turned to Jack again.

"Yeah." She said softly, her dark skin also shinning in the blazing hot son.

"I just wanted to check on you. I don't know what I would have done if he'd killed you." Jack said, closing his eyes, not wanting to picture it.

"I'm fine, Jack. I promise." She granted him with a small smile.

"How are you?" Tierra asked, emphasizing on the 'you'. Jack smiled wildly, "I'm alright."

At the door, stood Damien. He was glaring at Jack, watching as he rubbed Tierra's shoulder. He lowly growled, shaking his head as he looked away but he found himself staring back when Tierra let a loud laugh escape her lips.

He wished he was the one to make her laugh like that.

Before he could register what he was doing, he called out to Tierra, his voice almost sounding angry. "Tierra, come here." Tierra head snapped to the familiar voice and frowned. Butterflies swarmed her stomach when she looked at the handsome prince but she pushed the feeling back and looked back at Jack.

"I'm sorry, Jack. I have to go. Duty calls. I'll see you later." She said.

Jack nodded.

As Tierra turned to walk away he grabbed her wrist making her look at him, "Let's go for a walk later?" He asked. Tierra bit her lip in anticipation but nodded. She smiled and wiggled her hand from him and rushed to the prince.

"Your highness." She greeted, bowing.

Damien placed two fingers under her chin, lifting her head up. Tierra looked at him, her eyes filled with innocence. "Join me for dinner tonight." Damien said. "With all due respect, your highness, I don't think that would be appropriate. Plus, I-I already have plans with someone else." Tierra softly said, a hint of fear in her eyes.

"Well cancel. I want you to join me for dinner tonight." Damien said.

"Your highness, I-I can't." Tierra stuttered. "Tierra, I swear, if you do not, I will end that boy's life. Now you don't want that, do you?" Damien said, a smirk playing on his lips. Tierra's eyes filled with tears. "N-no." She said. "Good girl. So I'm going to ask you again, join me for dinner?"

Tierra nodded as she dropped her head in shame.

She felt the prince tug her hand as he led her somewhere. Tierra was too distracted to even pay attention. When they finally made it to wherever the prince had led them to, Tierra could careless, Damien pulled out a chair for her. She sat down. She finally realized they were in the prince's chambers. A table was placed in the middle of the large room, the lights dim. There was plenty of food on the table that Tierra felt her mouth water.

Damien sat across her, smiling as he watched Tierra eyeing the food.

"Do you like it?" He asked. Tierra's eyes were wide, "Uhh, yes, I guess. Thank you." She grabbed a fork and knife and started munching on the stake. Thank God her mother taught her table manners, otherwise she wouldn't know how to use a fork and knife.

Damien smiled before eating his own food.

When they finally finished eating, Tierra stood up, wanting to get out of there as quick as possible. "Stay the night." The prince said, his hair falling on his forehead as he leaned his head towards Tierra, who was a bit short. Tierra gulped. "I-I can't stay here, your highness. The king-he will-" Damien cut her off by placing his lips on hers, moving them slowly. Tierra was lost in a trance. She snapped back into reality and pushed the prince away. "We can't." She said. But she wanted to. She has never wanted a man more. Not even Jack.

Damien ignored her and connected their lips again.

He lifted her up, causing her legs to wrap around his waist, before walking to his bedroom. He kicked the door open and kicked it again to close it, after he had entered his room. Tierra softly moaned when the prince bit her lip. She felt her heart rapidly beating against her chest as the prince laid her down on the bed.

Disappointment flushed through her body when the prince suddenly stopped.

"You should get some rest." He said, planting a soft kiss on her neck, her cheek and then finally, her plump lips.

And that is how they spent the whole night. Cuddling. It was the best sleep Tierra has ever had.
