"Sit." Damien gestured. Tierra walked further into the large room and sat down on the bed, hesitantly. Damien sat next to her, rubbing his face in frustration. Tierra pulled his hands away. "Talk to me." She softly said, her eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"My father wasn't always like that." Damien said.

Tierra's eyes softened. "Talk to me, Damien-I mean, Your highness." Damien smiled. The way his name rolled of her tongue was so sensual. "You can call me Damien. I think we're way past formality." Tierra bit her lip.

There was a long pause as Damien tried to process his words.

"My father was kind but all changed when my mother died. I don't know why. It's just all too confusing-" He groaned, standing up. "I get frustrated with the way he's handling things. This is not how you treat people. It's not. Sometimes, I just feel like I don't want to be king anymore. The wedding, fuck don't get me started on the fucking wedding. My father keeps pressing and pressing, I feel like I'm going
