Rhea’s POVI looked at the path that suddenly seemed to stretch forever. I heaved a sigh of frustration and thought of my options. I had tried to walk over the shards and that had not worked. Then I remembered that when I first came here, I had touched the glass shards and it had changed to flowers. Maybe that would work this time too?I crouched down carefully on the ground and took a deep breath. Slowly, I picked up a shard of glass from the ground.   Rhea’s POV I ran out of the building and saw the demon disappear behind a corner. Without hesitating, I bolted behind the demon. I turned the corner in pursuit of the demon and found it turning behind another corner. Without wasting time, I sprinted and thanked Adrian for making me workout daily. I was not huffing and puffing like I usually do even after all the running.  I found the demon hovering over a few feet away. I slowed down and approached with caution. Why did it stop suddenly? I reached near the demon and it started making high-pitched screeching noises? Was it cursing me or begging me to leave it alone? I shrugged and tried to think of what to do?
