Aldridge woke up to the sound of cutlery dropping. He opened his eyes and looked around the chamber.“Finally awake My Lord?” Mrs Wright said as she placed down the teacup and saucer beside his bed.“What do you mean?" He asked as he looked around the chamber and saw that it was daytime already.“You have been asleep for the last two days,” Mrs Wright answered.“What? Aldridge arrived at the palace and was greeted by the guards. Shawn was inside a bakery waiting for his order when one of the manservants came looking for him and told him that Aldridge was home.Shawn arrived home and sent the cakes to the kitchen while he went to the chamber holding the box behind his back.Stepping through the doors, he saw that Aldridge was sitting on the bed hugging his legs with a pout.
