The loud chirping of birds and the warm ray seeping through the windows to the room caught her face, causing her to wake up.She stayed silently for a while before turning to look at her side. It was empty. She got up to the washroom, living room and finally the kitchen but he wasn't there. It was only when her eyes hit the clock that she was assured that he left. She walked back to the bedroom and laid down at the side he slept on. His exotic perfume and scent filled her nostrils and enveloped her. She felt as if he was still right there. Even the pillows smell of him, his aftershave, and hair cream. She loved every bit of it.And as she remembered last night, she couldn't stop the smile from taking over her face. He had taught her how to make almond tea then they ate dinner toget

She spent most of the time daydreaming and reminiscing about her day that she slept late. After sending her clothes to the laundry, she prepared almond tea and went to the gym.She got tired quicker than usual and when she got home, she was too exhausted to do anything and so she slept. When she woke up, her eyes met the window first and she saw the sun setting."Oh shit!" She threw the cover off her and stepped down. Wilhelm will be here to pick her any moment from now and here she is still snoring in bed. When she raised her head, Wilhelm was sitting in front of her dresser with his eyes glued on her.He wore a pair of black chinos and a gray shirt with a brown jacket."The hell. You scared the shit out of me!"

She rested her head against the head of the sofa and just stared into the sky. Before long, she closed her eyes to drown herself for a while. In a split second, Wilhelm had his hand beneath her thighs to raise her from the couch."What?" She asked defensively."Let's go to bed."She didn't say anything again until she felt her body against the soft mattress and got enveloped by the freshly washed scent of bedsheets. He stood over her, watching her."Why are you looking at me like that?" She arched her brow."I think there's a problem." He scratched the side of his head."Problem? What problem?" She raised herself a l

Once she pushed the door open to step out for work, her jaw dropped. Standing in front of her in blood and flesh is no other than Arabella Abbey, her best friend.Ara's eyes lingered on her longingly before hardening to the "I-don't-give-a-fuck" look.Destiny smiled sadly, yet utterly relieved to see her. It feels like forever since she last saw her."Don't get happy. I'm here to warn you to not dare come to my office on Friday but you can wait until I'm done if you want to. Is that okay?"First, she gave her a choice and then took it back."Yes ma'am."Ara's lips were pursed firmly, she nodded once, then twice before taking a step back. Another step then she turned around and left.Destiny chose to le

"Yes. When Richard left, I told your brother that I didn't mean my words. I told him why I had to do that. But he didn't listen. He was bent on being the CEO. I finally agreed because I had no choice. Since I didn't trust him, I decided to be his assistant to act as a check on him.""Wow! How did he take the kiss?""He doesn't stop teasing and making me feel bad about it. He always says I jumped him, I harassed him, and blah blah blah. Damn! It's exhausting." She rubbed her temple to express it."I pity you. My brother doesn't stop if he has something to tease someone about and especially if he enjoys it. How do you react to it?""I literally just go nuts in front of him.""That's bad. You're just fuelling him to continue. You shou
