Elizabeth's point of view:"Mother!" I ran toward my mother, unable to hide my happiness. Besides Logan, I never had a family. Well, it doesn't seem so anymore. I mean, in front of me was the woman who gave her life to save my own. My only and only mother.I buried myself in her embrace, not able to stop the tears running out of my eyes. More than I expected, she hugged me back. "Oh, dear! You really grew up to become such a beautiful lady." My mother exclaimed, and I felt one of her tears running down my shoulder.Just by then, she'd pulled me out of her embrace and added. "Listen... My sweetheart, I don't have a lot of time here with you, so listen to me carefully. First of all, I want you to believe in yourself... A lot is coming, but I do believe in you, and I trust that you can handle it. Do not underestimate yourself anymore and trust your heart. It will always lead you to the right decision... I will always be with you in your he

Third-person perspective Hundreds of years ago, in the palace. As King Edmund entered his royal room, fury was shown on his face. Meanwhile, Queen Sophie was watching her reflection in the mirror while fixing her make-up. The mad appearance of her king did not affect her at all; it was something that she was used to seeing. "Where is she?" He growled at her. Only then did she seem to notice his mood. "I don't know what you are talking about." She answers him in a quite simple way. Her voice was so soft that anyone would've believed that she really didn't have any clue. Well, you can't say the same about her husband, the one who knows her better than anyone else. In a swift move, a chair was thrown inches away from her head. The next thing to happen was the king threatening her with her life. "If anything happens to her, I swear to end your life." " I swear... "She cut him off while repeating after him. "You can't do a thing, you fool! You know better than to mess wit

Elizabeth’s point of view: I spent the rest of the day trying to break free from the stupid room I was locked in, but I couldn't. The door was quietly open but I couldn't pass it, same with the windows and the balconies. It was like an invisible sort of power that I can't see but still can feel. The day went swiftly by me fighting the invisible wall, not attending to stop before I got myself free. " After spending the entire day watching you, I'm not tired of this, I can spend other days doing the same, it's better than sleeping, anyway. It's kinda funny if you want my opinion. " Someone said from behind while laughing, I turned to see a one standing Elijah while crossing hands, not trying to hide the amusement showing in his face and through his voice, he got a few steps close to me and threw a sack of blood in between my hands " Drink! " He ordered, and I didn't like the fact that he ordered me, nor the fact he wanted me to drink blood " No!! I'm not drinking this thing; besides, I

Elizabeth’s point of view: As he was about to leave, I remembered something '' You said that the banquet is one of the reasons you're here, what are the other reasons you're here for.'' I asked him then he smirked at me before he said'' Well, I'm also here because I know you missed me, and as the gentleman I am - I decided to grace you with my presence.'' He teased, and I rolled my eyes while he was leaving.-------------------The shield is off and I'm free to move as I want, but first I have got to get myself ready. First, I started by taking a shower, as the water ran through my body I felt like releasing all the pressure that was holding inside my heart. After taking a shower, I decided on wearing the red dress that Elijah brought to me. I put on some make-on as I managed to put all my focus on the red lipstick I'm putting on my lips. I didn't put much effort into my hair, as I decided to keep it loose. I put on at the end a red high heel along with a diamond necklace that kind of

Elisabeth's point of view: Elijah waited for me to get ready for my first day of training. For now, I decided to wear a black sports bra along with tight black sports pants and black comfy sneakers, and I tightened my hair into a messy bun. Now we are both ready to leave the palace and start training. I was informed earlier by Elijah that ' The Hybrid aka me ' is super powerful since it has the strength of both species but not their weaknesses. He also told me that in order to release all my potential, I have to know my hybrid. How...? By training, as I was told. I kept on following Elijah outside the palace since I don't know where exactly on which side of the planet we are. It is still confidential information to me because it seems that my father doesn't trust me one hundred percent, from what I could tell he believes that I may betray them for my mate at any moment. If he only knew what this mate did to me, and what his love cost he would never believe in such a thing. While t
