When Mina placed all the blame on them, the maids rushed forward and fell on their knees in front of Eros. "Mercy your highness, please spare our lives. It was lady Mina who told us to leave our mistress alone. She was furious with our mistress for insulting her near the pond. We were scared of Lady Mina and doesn't want to get on her bad side. So we did as we were told to do" they confessed. Mina is the person who runs the harem and she is the closest woman to their king and their future queen. So they are scared of her. They did what she told them to do because they doesn't want to get into trouble and lose their jobs. But now things changed and the king is handling the issue. Their king has the ultimate say in everything, so they don't want to get killed because they followed what Mina asked them to do. When Eros heard the confession of the maids, he became angry. He remembered how mad Mina was when Iris talked back at her and dosent let Mina bully her. Eros doesn't have to ask

After a few hours, Iris woke up feeling much better. The sun is going down on the west. She sat up cautiously so that she wouldn't put pressure on her tender stomach. The fur blanket which Eros covered her with slipped down her torso and pooled around her waist. The shirt which Mina ruined is hanging to her frame, exposing her breasts. Iris immediately covered herself. She began to feel bad for herself. She never thought she would become the other woman in a relationship. Even though the woman in this world approve of mistresses to their husbands, Iris never wanted to be anyone's mistress or a concubine. Even though what Mina did is wrong, she can understand why that woman is jealous and is acting like a lunatic. 'Eros is her fiancee and this room and palace along with that man belongs to her. I should leave now and put a stop to all of this. I need to find a way to go away from this world. Eros is dangerous for my sanity. If I am not careful, I might lose my heart to that man, whic

"Please Eros. Let her stay. I will do anything to make you feel better" she offered innocently. Eros smirked when he heard her offer. "Anything?" he asked her with mischief shining from his eyes. Iris frowned at the look in his eyes. She can see that something is brewing inside his head, which she is sure she wouldn't like. "I mean, anything within reason" she backtracked and amended her words. Eros shook his head and turned to leave, which confused Iris. "What? Where are you going? We are not done here" she said with a frown and blocked his path yet again. Diandra is feeling like she is in an alternate universe, where her king is teasing a human and he is not all angered to be stopped twice by the said human. One can even say that he is enjoying the banter with Iris. Eros refused to look at her and turned towards the grandfather clock on the wall instead. He sighed impatiently, indicating that he has important things to do. "Fine, what do you want?" she grumbled. Eros gave

Eros frowned when he saw the message sent to him by one of his generals appointed to protect the northern borders of the WERE kingdom. 'My king, we are under attack. I cannot see or hear anything or anyone. But one after another all my men are falling unconscious and not waking up again. I need backup immediately ' The small message sent from his general, which is tied around the leg of a trained royal messenger pigeon read. Eros passed around the message to his ministers and advisors to read. "Your highness, should we be worried?" one of his ministers asked with a worried frown. Eros can sense the urgency with which his general wrote the message. He is sure that this is something that they should be worried about. The words written are unsteady as if the hand which is writing it is shaking with fear. And Eros noticed that his general forgot to greet his king, which is a usual norm while writing any message directed at their king. None of his generals ask for backup unless it is

"Fire" Iris is taken aback by the command issued by Eros. Based on their history, everyone knows that they had a rocky beginning. It is only fair for her to harbour anger towards him for how he treated her in the initial days. She is holding a loaded bow and he is standing in front of her unarmed. It doesn't take her more than a few seconds to kill him. But still, he is standing right in front of her with confidence. What is more surprising is the twinkle in his eyes. She saw the confidence in his eyes that she will not hurt him. And he is also confident that she might not hit the target. He is having fun at her expense. "You should be scared that I might kill you. But you are stupid to enjoy being aimed by an arrow directly at your head" she pouted with a frown. Eros chuckled at her. "You are many things but not a killer Iris. If you wanted, you could have killed me a dozen times by now. I sleep beside you every night for crying out loud. But apart from your sharp tongue aiming
