CHAPTER 42: MISUNDERSTANDING." Why...why are you telling me this? You're sounding really creepy right now." Leilani said as she let out a nervous smile." I know. I'm sounding really creepy because something really creepy happened to me." Ivy replied with a side smile, she removed her gaze from Leilani as she stood up and walked slowly to a frame that hung on the wall of the tastefully furnished sitting room." Something creepy?" Leilani asked but Ivy ignored her this time as she traced her finger all over the edges of the frame." She's surely beautiful." Ivy murmured." What is it? Why are you doing that?" Leilani asked. This time, a frown already covered her face.Ivy smiled as she faced Leilani. " Your daughter... Crystal." " What happened to her?"" Weeks after you brought her to the hospital for a test, I think my life took another turn after that day." Ivy glanced at the frame again which had Crystal's beautiful smiling face and her gorgeous blue eyes glinting with undescrib

" Hello miss." Leilani frowned as she felt someone tap her shoulders gently." Hello." The person called again when she didn't turn." Hello." She turned with an unfriendly frown but her unfriendly look slightly dampened when she saw the friendly one on the person's face." How can I help you?" She asked." Sorry to disturb you miss but I_" the man talking to her got interrupted by another man who suddenly came out of the blues with an angry look." Stop talking like an idiot, Silas. Isn't she just a human? Why are you talking to her like she's some kind of goddess or something?" The man spoke arrogantly while Silas gave Leilani an apologetic smile." I just want to ask her what you sent us Boss." Silas said to the arrogant man who was none other than the conceited Alpha of Bluemoon Pack." How rude. You need help yet you talk like this? Are you sick or something?" Leilani spat, glaring at Wymond who didn't waste time glaring back at her. Before he could form his own reply, she turn

Xander walked out of the bathroom slowly, the towel he was using to rub his wet hair hung in the air as his pretty amber eyes gazed at Kaden who sat at the front of the couch, on the floor switching channels on the huge plasma television stamped in the luxurious living room." Kaden?" He called looking astonished.Kaden shot him a quick glance before he averted his gaze back to the television which was displaying a popular model walking down the aisle." You..." His didn't finish his words but still, he slowly walked towards Kaden." I thought you left." Xander said and dropped the towel in his hands on the chair." I didn't say I'd be going anytime soon neither did i leave. You started having delusions at this young age?" Kaden replied in a mutter relaxing his back on the couch.Xander made a face at him as he threw himself on the couch. " I thought I heard you saying you'd leave today, I mean, you said you'd leave after the party. Was I really having delusions?" " Maybe. You rea

Xander turned to look at her but he noticed her eyes were looking elsewhere, trailing her gaze, they fell on Kaden who was also watching them intensely as he leaned on a car." Xander." His serene voice called as he moved away from the car and started walking towards them slowly.Leilani's hands started shaking, she folded her hands beside her, biting her lips to control herself." Wasn't she just asking of him now? Why the sudden animosity?" She thought as his familiar scent started filling her sense of smell." He is..he is the one right?" She whispered, looking up at Xander and he nodded slowly.Leilani could see the questioning gaze in the other man's eyes as he seemed to hear the question she asked Xander.Xander shot a quick look at Leilani and he could see the way she looked as if she was holding in her breath as Kaden walked up to them.Shutting his eyes tightly for some seconds like he was summoning some kind of courage, he turned to look at Kaden who was returning the unfa

Leilani simply watched them as they exchanged words with confusion written boldly on her face.Walking slowly to the huge mirror in the room, she turned her back slowly to the mirror, her eyes cautiously looking at herself in the mirror.Without straining her neck much, her eyes caught it.Her eyes caught the line, the curves on her neck. Her blue orbs caught the silver, intricate lines and curves of a nautical star tattoo carved beautifully like an artwork on her neck." What..... what is this?" She removed her gaze from the mirror as she looked at the people in the room quizzically. Logan and Ivy who already had confusion written bodly on their faces looked more confused when they saw the quizzical look on her face." What does that look means?" Ivy asked, chewing her nails as she continuously squeezed something in her palm." Where... tattoo? What...I don't understand." Leilani stuttered with a disordered look and turned to take another look at the glamorous tattoo on her neck."
