CONNIVE OF ENEMIES

"Since there are only two of us left, I guess there is no point in hiding this anymore!" Nickie said. "Your father might be a murderer and that's what I wanted to say!"Olivia went outside her office but I noticed that Ace is gone. I neither feel his presence. "What is going on here?" she asked. "This is none of your concern Olivia," I said to her. "Of course it also concerned me because you are my f*cking slut assistant. I have been waiting for you to arrive and look what I found, you are having a fight with another lady. That alone proves that you are not a kind she-wolf!""You are right Olivia," said Nickie. "Did you know that this b*tch is backstabbing you? She said that you are having an affair with Ace and that you are manipulating him to make her jealous. Not only that, she said that you are trying to steal this company from Alpha Steven!" she lied. I was not shocked that Nickie is taking Olivia's side on this matter but I cannot take the lie that she said about me!I looke

LOSE THE TRUST

Olivia pointed her finger at me, "It's her fault! She slapped Nickie's face because she does not want to follow her. I am actually trying to separate them but Sophia is just too brave even because she told us that you prefer believing in her rather than believing in us!"I came to defend myself. "No Alpha Steven, you know that I cannot do such things to anyone. They are actually the ones who started saying negative against me and my family- especially my father!""LIAR!" said Nickie, "Ever since you came to this place, you brought nothing but troubles. I am trying my best to be friends with and yet look what happened?"Olivia shifted her gaze at Alpha Steven. "See? I really hate that kind of attitude so please do not try to take her side on this matter, Alpha Steven! You are one of the most respected and most powerful Alpha in the pack. Don't let someone like her try to ruin your good reputation. She needs to be reprimanded and not be tolerated!" I am expecting that Alpha Steven is g

TEAM UP AGAINST SOPHIA

I stood up and he spoke again."I want you to apologize to Olivia because of what you did! She is the main reason why my corporation survives and I cannot afford to lose her investment now!"I sighed, not wanting to do what Alpha Steven wants. "I will never do that!""Come on, you need to swallow your pride. Look, this is just a small favor I am asking from you. I helped you a lot of times already in the past so please, consider helping me as well!"With his pleading eyes, I know that he is not taking no for an answer. He's got a point though, he has been helping me out since I was a kid so I need to return the favor even if I need to swallow my pride. "First of all, thank you for everything you have done for me, Alpha Steven. I won't be tired to say how grateful I am to meet someone like you. And now that you are asking me a favor, I will do it because you are one of the important people in my life!"He gave me a warm hug and looked at me thereafter, "During lunch or even after lu

PUNISHMENT FOR SOPHIA

"Ace why are you doing here? I thought you already left because you've got an important thing to do?" said Olivia. He looked at the cake in his hand and smiled at Olivia. "Isn't it obvious? I just brought you a cake because we need to celebrate your first day of work!"The happiness was plain to see in Olivia's eyes and she kissed him in front of me. I was offended and wanted to leave but I know that it's really unprofessional if I just leave without a valid reason. I just looked away and silently wiped my tears. "What happened to your face?" Ace asked Nickie. Then his gaze shifted to me and asked me the same thing. I was about to talk but Nickie won't let me speak. "That woman got into an argument with me earlier and it resulted in a physical fight. But there is nothing to worry about, I will go to the clinic later!""What is the reason for that?" he asked. "She's overacting because I've talked about her damn father!""She is right, I wasn't expecting her to become immature to h

IN DENIAL

"Since nobody is here except for the three of us, I can do whatever I want with your f*cking face!""Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you're going to throw that expensive cake in that b*tch's face?"Olivia turned her gaze at Nickie and replied, "That is just fine. It's no different from slapping her face with my money. This is just a cake but the humiliation she will get is going to be one of the worst memories of her life!"Olivia held my hands and put the cake on my face. I feel so damn small and I know that she already crossed the line. I wanted to smack the sh*t out of these two but for the sake of Alpha Steven, I need to calm down myself and act as if I have no feelings at all. They looked at each other and smiled. "Hahahaha, look at your damn face! You look even more freak with cake. Now is the time for you to show me that brave attitude you have shown earlier outside in front of Alpha Steven and my beloved Ace!" said Olivia. The cake has gotten into my clothes. I picked up

DANGER THAT LIES AHEAD

"Look, I think we should avoid going here to avoid any trouble. Besides, I think they are happy without us!" Martin said. I believe he has a valid point but I asked him a question, "But there is no other restaurant aside from this one!""Why don't we search for another restaurant first? Don't worry, I've got extra money from Alpha Conan. We can ride on the bus and find another restaurant?"I don't really want to see Ace and Olivia together because it really breaks my heart into pieces. That is why I followed what Martin wants. We headed back and I started shaking when we arrived at the very same place where I got almost kidnapped. "Are you okay? Why are you shaking, Sophia?" Martin asked, sounding concerned about me. I pointed at the shelves. "That was the place where five rogues surrounded me. It was like a nightmare of my life when they looked at me with anger and hate!""I see... they said that you already crossed the line and you were already stepping in their territory, isn't

SOPHIA'S LIFE IS IN DANGER

I was about to text my mom when a guy sitting at my back snatch my phone. Martin saw what the guy at the back did to me and he immediately transformed into a wolf. He has a golden eye and silver fur and I can sense that he has incredible strength. He grabbed my hand and in the blink of an eye, he destroyed the car and we exited. We rolled on the ground due to the impact of his strength. He helped me get up on my knees. "Just stay at my back, I think they are associated with the rogues you encountered yesterday. Just hide on my back, I've got this!""Yes, we are the friends of those rogues that were beaten by an Alpha and we are here for the same mission as well. Now, if you don't want to be killed, you have to hand her over to us. But if you insist on protecting her, then that only means you are prepared to die as well!"From the way he looks, Martin is not afraid to face all of them. Still, I tried reaching out to him. "Hey, I told you not to underestimate me anymore! Remember, I

IN DANGER

CONAN POVConan has finally arrived at the canteen with a paper bag containing food in his hand. He roamed his eyes and he could not see Sophia nor Martin inside. But he saw Alpha Steven having fun with Olivia, Ace, and Nickie on the corner side. When Alpha Steven noticed him standing alone, he immediately went in front of him. "Hello, Alpha Conan... what's up with you?""I wanted to know if you happen to see Sophia. I bring her food but I cannot find her!""She is probably having lunch somewhere else together with her bodyguard!"Conan's eyes widened in shock. "No... I told Martin that they should not go outside this building. When was the last time that you have seen them?"Alpha Steven seems to be clueless until he tilted his mouth to answer. "It was four hours ago when she entered my office after she had a fight with Olivia and Nickie!""WHAT? AND WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT IN THE OFFICE?" Conan yelled. "AND WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO HER?""Sophia got into a heated argument with one of

AGREEMENT TO SAVE SOPHIA

"Sh*t the fuck up, whoever you are! This is none of your f*cking business!" Conan said, "Are you not concerned about your coworker being kidnapped in just the blink of an eye?""Let's calm down and go there ahead to save Sophia. It will not do us anything good if we are going to fight over while she's still on the run," Ace said. Alpha Ace looked Olivia in the eyes. "I want you to stay here and take care of yourself. I need to come with them and save Sophia!"Olivia raised an eyebrow. "There is no way I'm going to allow you to do that. They can protect Sophia... besides that is one of our agreements, your priority is following my orders!"Alpha Steven got up on his feet and looked at Ace. "Don't worry buddy, we can handle things on our own. There is no need for you to be involved in this matter!""But how about you and Alpha Conan? Are you sure you are going to be with him despite what he just did? Someone must come because things will get out of hand between the two of you!" Ace sa

THE HEATED ARGUMENT TO SAVE SOPHIA

"Well then, if you bring Martin alive as well, I am not going to say this to Sophia's mother. However, I am still going to say it to her if you do not bring both of them alive!"Alpha Steven put a smile on his face. "Thank you so much Alpha Conan, I swear, we will never let you down!""Wait, does Olivia knows about this, Alpha Ace?" asked Alpha Steven.Alpha Ace turned around and smiled. "You've got nothing to worry about, I can take care of her!""So you don't ask her permission after all and I am certain that she does not know you are here as well!""Well, I can just say that you forced me to come with you!"Alpha Steven grabbed him by his shirt. "Are you insane? Why are you putting me in a hot seat? You know that Olivia and I are not very close. I might get in trouble if you do not say the truth!"Alpha Ace looked at him solemnly. "Come on, if I don't lend you a hand, it would be difficult for you to find Sophia on your own. We are just in the same boat. Besides, I can handle the e
