RAZE’S POV In the past few days, I noticed the way Amber was losing her touch. She had barely smile ever since the execution. She was either crying alone in secret places and coming out with swollen eyes or she was not communicating well with me.I wanted to be there for her. I wanted to help her fight this pain and agony. I desperately wanted to be there all through the journey of her healing but that was only going to be if she wanted me to.I knew her Father was a monster but somehow I felt like I might have a hand in bringing this storm upon her.Running my left finger through my hair, I thought of the best way to inform her of the new update without her losing it. Particularly I feel like it would be too soon but that was what the villagers wanted and we just had to give it to them.According to the Elders, the villagers fears that Amber might be a threat to all of them giving who her Father was and the only way to get them to settle down is by making her a part of us. AMBER’S POVIt was a beautiful morning. The crisply sound of the birds awakened me, my eyes fluttering open slowly, adjusting to the ray of lights.Today happened to be a day I would officially become a Luna to Alpha Raze. A male I had loved with my whole life.I giggled my body, hitting on my lovely mate's body.I took a long stare at his face, his sleepy look was enchanting. He looked cute every time. His looks sent me good energy for the day. I leaned closer to his face, placing a passionate peck on it.His eyes were shut open. A great warrior, always at alert. He took a quick glance at the room, landing his pretty eyes on me.“Good morning love.” He said, outstretching his arms.“Hope you slept well honey?” I asked, caring about his welfare. He looked at me with questioning eyes which I had no idea of.“It was surely good with you by my side. You should be certain of that by now.” He responded, smiling softly at me.My soft cheek flickered in a gentle blush. He leaned his head c

RAZE'S POVI glared at the wall like it was the reason for my anger, my fist was clenched tightly and jaw ticked." B..but what does this mean?" Amber's voice shook, it held so much panic and fear. Her breathe were coming out in short pants.I crouched beside her and held her face in my palm, staring into her tear filled eyes. She looked so scared and vulnerable" Baby! Baby!! I need you to calm down, okay? Relax." I said softly but she wasn't listening. She was staring at me and she wasn't at the same time. Her eyes had this far away look." D-does this mean...someone wants to hurt me?" She stared at the paper and her hands shook " He's watching me!" She gasped and quickly looked around the room. Tears were dropping from her eyes quickly." Amber..." She was still acting frantically. My hands grabbed her waist and pulled her close to me and I kissed her roughly. Please snap out of it....She struggled in my grip, trying to escape but I tightened my hold on her, refusing to let go.I

AMBER'S POV I woke up three times that night and found it extremely hard to fall back to sleep. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to go wrong. It was like a numb but consistent thud in my chest, every time when I woke up, Raze would wake up with me. And our baby would kick or turn to let me know that he could also feel my distress. It was almost Dawn when I was finally able to sleep again and although it wasn't very peaceful, it wasn't restless enough to wake me up. The next time I opened my eyes, it was bright and sunny outside. The curtains were drawn but a mischievous ray had found its way in through the tiniest space. It felt warm on my face but it wasn't blinding. I have no idea how long I must have fake-slept till I actually fell asleep. I stood up and stretched and wasn't surprised when I turned to my left and saw it was empty. The feeling was back and my heart was beating restlessly. My fingers went through my V-neck rubbing softly on my heart. Can

AMBER'S POV" What is it?" I turned to the Doctor when we were out of earshot. His smile looked forced and a bit sad. And everytime he glanced at me, I knew he wanted to tell me something. His behaviour just shows that it won't be something I like." The Alpha is fine…" He started." But?" I asked." But his focal nerve has been injured causing him to suffer from paraplegia." " English Doc. I don't speak science." I rolled my eyes." In a layman's term, he won't be able to work." The words sort of flower through my ears and although it stuck to my brain, I couldn't digest it. My brain couldn't interprete them clearly. It felt like been told you're dying in a foreign language, you just don't understand it." What are you saying, Doc?" I asked him, still confused " What do you mean by he can't walk?" K" The nerves were severely injured, damaged even. And the poison injected in his body was of two types, one substance caused the injury, the other slows down his healing process. You co
