Call the Doctor:My eyes open and close as nurses pushes me to the Intensive care unit on a stretcher.Members of my family occasionally comes into my sight as my sight goes on and off. I am unable to hear anything other than a sharp ringing sound which feels like it’d drive me crazy.“Will she be okay? Please tell me she’ll be okay.”She’s losing to much blood, if we don’t do something about it immediately, we’ll lose her. These are the only words my ears catch before I pass out totally.“She’s waking up, her fingers are moving.”This sound comes from a distance and I don’t quite recognize the voice of the speaker.“Call the doctor, her vitals need to be checked.”“Where am I? Wasn’t I just at the….oh, that’s right; I’m dead. This must be the afterlife.”“Ruby, Ruby! Open your eyes honey, open your eyes for me.”That voice I do recognize, it’s my mom’s voice. Are my eyes closed? It explains why I see total darkness.Slowly I raise my eye lids. The intensity of the light causes me the

Ethan:It’s been 24 hours since I got home. I feel my energy coming back to me, I’m able to walk a little better than the time at the hospital.I texted Logan and told him about the incident when I got home, he panicked. Logan wanted to immediately come down to the house but I stopped him because I still have some drama to take care of.As I lay in my bed, alpha Ethan’s words echoes in my thoughts. He said things that left me sleepless during my night at the hospital.“Just what did he mean by all that, was he lying? Is he trying to play with me again?”I am unable to get past the thoughts as the whole conversation replays in my head countless times.I had urged my family to gather on the living room because I have something important to tell everyone. Mason texts me and tells me that the whole family is waiting on me in the living room.I reluctantly leave my bed and put on a robe, tie my hair and exit my room.Mason comes upstairs to help me down because my legs aren’t all that stro

Layla:We sat by the lake; Logan tossed stones into it while I made the sandwiches from the bread he brought with him.“You’re very thoughtful Logan, to have come up with an idea like this. It’s beautiful.”He picks up a pebble and sits on the mat.“I think you should have this”“He hands me a beautiful Ruby coloured pebble.”“Thank you, it’s very pretty. I like it.”“It’s not as pretty as you though”“You think so?”“You’re the prettiest woman I’ve come across in my life, I’m glad to have met you that day.”“I’m glad too”I responded, turning my face away from him to hide how happy I felt.“The park seems rather quiet today doesn’t it?”“I’d say it’s peaceful. I love how the atmosphere feels.”“My parents used to bring me here as a kid.”“Really? What are you parents like?”He moves closer to me and places his arms around his knees, staring into the lake.“My parents? They were the best.”“Were? I’m sorry about that”“It’s fine, happened years ago.”“What happened?”“Ruby, there’s so

Greg:We walk into the supermarket and I grab a cart and follow behind Clara.“So, Clara…how does it feel to be a mother?”“Tedious if I’m being honest.”“What do you mean?”“There are times when I hate it and there are times when I feel like it’s the best thing that had ever happened to me.”“I see, I’d love to experience that one day. At this point it’s beginning to feel like an impossible thing.”“It’s certainly not impossible, you just have to find the person you want first. You’ll make an amazing mother I’m sure of it.”“I really hope so. What are we getting first?”“Well first things first, we should get the diapers, I believe I’ll find them on the other section.”She switches section and walks to the other side of the supermarket. I follow behind her, whatever she picks, she throws in the cart.“I’m really glad you came along, this means a lot to me.”“Yeah? How so?”“Well, you’re mostly busy. I just needed an excuse for a bonding experience with you.”“I’m sorry I don’t give y

Ethan:Just like a dream, I am on the flight with Logan sitting, next to him waiting to go to America.I had made up my mind about following him the previous day. After I met up with Ethan, I needed a way to clear my head. The pressure had been too much for me to deal with, Ethan’s words gave me a sleepless night, one of confusion and agony. I never should have gone to meet him.A flight attendant walks up to our sit, she appears to know alpha Logan. It seems he’s popular among the staff in this airport. That only makes sense though, he travels through this airport all the time for business.“Sir, would you like me to bring you anything?”“A bottle of water will do, Ruby is there anything you want”“No, I just have a bottle of water too”“You sure you came out pretty early, have you had breakfast yet?”“I'm not hungry, when I am I'll tell you”“I see…”“Excuse me, two bottles of water then?”“Yeah, we’ll have that thank you”She leaves our seat and heads towards the back.“So what ma
