Liam’s POVMy eyes slowly opened as I felt rays of light fall on them. I groaned and shut them for few seconds before opening them once more. A sharp pain radiated from the back of my head to pretty much everywhere else and it was excruciating.I lay still on the bed and didn’t move for a minute or two in order to lessen the pain, after I felt a bit relieved I managed to sit up. My entire body ached and it was like a hellish job for me to sit.I rubbed my temple with my hand in order to alleviate the still throbbing pain but there was none on the table that was at the bedside. I shut my eyes and tried to remember what had happened. The place didn’t look familiar and I would be in trouble if someone had kidnapped me. I paused for a minute and waited to see if anyone would barge in but no one did, I heaved a sigh of relief. My head still spun and my eyelids were heavy, my memory was blurry and it hurts as I tried to remember what had happened.I vaguely remembered fainting but nothing b

Scarlett’s POVMy eyelashes fluttered open as I opened my eyes, I inhaled deeply to allow the sweet fragrance of the morning to properly serenade my nostrils, I yawned slightly and turned to the other side. This gave me a proper view of the handsome man lying beside me, he was still fast asleep and I gently traced his perfectly chiseled jaw and attractive fast with my fingers. My movements were gentle so as to not wake him up.I gently patted his silky and smooth hair and he moaned sweetly like a baby would. I couldn’t help but blush at this action of his as it made butterflies flutter in my belly. I leaned further in and planted a swift yet wet kiss on his lips which he evidently enjoyed before rising up from the bed.I tiptoed out of the room to the one beside it and took a bath. Jace was sensitive to even the slightest sound so I was careful not to wake him up. After I was done, I slipped into a comfy dress and headed straight for the kitchen in order to prepare him a delicious mea

Stacy’s POVTaking a deep breath, I managed to step into the house and waited for the maid to announce my presence to which Scarlett had to give her permission before I could gain access to the rooms. This irked and annoyed me because I should have being the one being treated like a queen and not her instead.Few minutes later, I walked into her room and she was shocked to see me and offered me a seat. Her response to me was sassy and I could tell that she had gained more confidence and now sees me as a potential threat. I had the urge to kill her right there but the evidence would be glaring and I’d be done for.I put on an act and tried to intimidate her with my aura and announced that Jace instructed me to retrieve a file from his room. I chose this route because I knew it would be easier to get through her and I would get the file I want from Jace’s room. If he finds out that it is missing I would simply deny ever coming here and would pin the blame on Scarlett. The bitch intends

Liam’s POVI made moves to personally search for Adam Brooke as he’s the only piece that will complete the puzzle and if jace lays a hold on him then it’s game over for me and I’ve gone too far to let such happen. The moment my boys gave me information on Adam’s whereabouts, I sprang to action. I ordered them to kidnap him but later decided against it and went to the bar myself. The moment I stepped in; I saw him at a far corner talking a man who had his back turned at me.The man looked back and it turned out to be Jace! I quickly dunked so as to avoid him seeing me and found a way to blend into the crowd. I sat at the other end and watched their every move.Few minutes later, Jace stood up and walked right past me and didn’t know as I covered my face with a newspaper. I clenched my fists in anger and angrily banged them on the table. My suspicions were right, the bastard had really ratted out on us to Jace.I felt like killing him at the spot but it would only complicate matters so

Stacy’s POVScarlett, the real Scarlett still looked at me confusedly and didn’t seem to get the memo while I began to try and make sense of the puzzle. Who was the fake Scarlett? What was her real mission.“You don’t look too good Stacy, are you sure you’re alright?” Scarlett asked worriedly. The worry in her eyes were sincere and matched the one of the Scarlett I knew to be my best friend. Her eyes trailed down to what I was carrying and she chuckled softly.“I see your taste in wine hasn’t changed, you got your favorite red wine with a bottle of whiskey I presume?” she joked lightly.I gasped, she was absolutely correct. I had bought a little bottle of whiskey to celebrate all alone tonight, she was without doubt Scarlett.“Tell me, are you pregnant for Jace which is why you came to buy this? You only buy this kind of stuff for big occasions.” She teased.A smile crept on my face, she was absolutely correct.“I wish.” I muttered to myself but loud enough for her to hear me.“Did yo
