I don't care whatever this woman's deal is, the only thing I know is I won't let myself get insulted. Stellan doesn't seem to notice the internal battle within me as he drops a big book on the table before us.I take a glance at the title and quickly realize that it's a history book on Lycans and the Lycan kingdom. “As you should have known from the note I sent yesterday, the competition is divided into 3 parts. And as I already promised to support you through it, I will be handling your training for the intelligence test, while two of my other trusted officials will help you get ready for the other two tests.”“Okay. Isabeau's POV“What? No!” Loic quickly rebuffs.“That’s fine Loic, I don’t want you to feel pressured or anything. I’ll still teach you if you want, you just seem like the perfect model.” Bastien says with a smile."I'm not making any promises but I'll consider it." Isabeau's POVOn the morning of the competition, Lyric comes to my room to wake me up as usual. But to her surprise, I'm already awake. I couldn't really sleep much the previous night. I mean who would be able to sleep knowing the next day would determine how the rest of their future plays out? I'm going to need it if I want to go through with this.The kitchen was refurbished for this specific event, it's been partitioned into two. 'Oh dear goddess, please let them like it.' I find myself silently praying.As I step into the kitchen, I see Loic diligently watching over the food, and he smiles at me reassuringly.
