Veil Of Destiny のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

Maria's POVI couldn’t sleep. Every creak of the floorboards, every whisper of wind against the windows sent my heart racing. I expected Alpha Felix to burst through the door at any moment, his face twisted in rage, ready to end me. Or worse, send his guards to drag me back to his chambers. I had apologized for breaking his nose, not that he seemed inclined to listen. Even though he deserved it, part of me regretted the impulsive punch. It had felt good at the moment, but now, the consequences loomed over me like a dark storm cloud. “You need to calm down,” Sophie said softly from the corner of the cramped room we shared. She was folding laundry, her hands steady and precise despite the late hour. “If Alpha Felix wanted to kill you, he would’ve done it already. Probably before you even left the lakeside.” Her calmness irritated me, though I knew she meant well. “How can you be so sure?” I snapped, pacing back and forth. “He was furious. I saw it in his eyes. You needed to see th

Alpha Leo's POV"So where could she have gone? How hard is it for all of you not to be able to find one miserable girl?" I bellowed at the men who shrank back in fear, annoying me the most. "We have been trying Alpha. It seems as if she has just disappeared off the face of the earth." One of my men said and I punched him squarely in the nose. "Get out of here," I ordered and the men fell over themselves, trying to rush out of the room. Just as the men left, the door was thrown open again and Sophia came in. She looked very furious and I knew without a doubt that she had come here only to start a fight, which I was not in the mood for. "Why are you doing this?" She yelled at me, confirming my thoughts. "Doing what Sophia?" I asked, pretending not to know what she was talking about. "You know exactly what I am talking about, stop pretending not to know about it." She yelled at me and stomped to my front, her chest rising and falling. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, tryin

Maria's POV "Looks like you are ready to get the party started" Alpha Felix's unmistakable face was staring at me in the dark, his eyes glinting with an evil smile. "What do you want from me?" I said as I backed away trying to escape from the room but he had seen through my intention so he locked the door quickly before I could get to it. "Leaving so soon?" He asked me, his eyes boring a hole into my chest. "I can't do what you are asking of me. I can't!" I yelled back at him, but he didn't flinch. I saw two bodyguards emerging from the shadows and all my senses became alert. "You see, I always thought that you were wise but you have proven to me that you are just like the other women. You want me to put in the work, and go the extra mile to make you bow to my desires, which at the end of the day, it's even enjoyable for you. I would really hate to do this the hard way" he said and the fear threatened to cripple my legs as I thought of a possible way to escape."Give up already."

Olivia's POV My arms hurt miserably as I tried to lift myself to the top of the fence to my freedom. I slipped and fell back to where I started. My waist hit the floor with a heavy thud. I groaned and winged, attracting the attention of the guards. "Who is there?" One of them bellowed and I immediately picked myself up and limped as fast as I could back to the servant's quarters. Sophie was on the bed, her eyes heavy with pain and immediately she saw me, I saw the guilt in her eyes. She turned her back to me and faced the walls. I wanted to speak to her but she had betrayed me and led me to be abused by Alpha Felix. I began packing my clothes, which were my slave uniforms and some clothes that I had just been given by Dexter from the hospital. He was such a sweet and kind man and I was happy that Maya who had been kind to me in the past few hours, got enough happiness to last her for a lifetime. "What are you doing?" Sophie asked me but I didn't answer her. She got up from her b

Maria's POV "Come in" his gruff voice came from inside. I knew that it had not been long since he had woken up and if for anything, he was currently trying to paint the perfect sunrise of my naked body.I eased the door open, wondering if Sophie was sticking to our plan. My stomach growled, not from hunger for the first time, but from my nerves messing with my insides. I walked in slowly, looking around to make sure that I was getting any surprises. Alpha Felix was seated by his window, his brows furrowed in a knot as it seemed like he was having an artist's block. I wondered if today had not been the wrong day and struggled to focus on my plan. "Good morning Alpha" I greeted him but he merely grunted in response. I immediately set to work, cleaning his room as hard as I could. Since my mind was everywhere, the only way I could ease the burden on my shoulder was to bury my head in my work. "Argh" I yelled when suddenly I was grabbed from behind and thrown on the end. Even though I
