Elara closed her eyes in anger; she could not believe how shameless he and his mom were being. Even though they had gotten in there, wouldn't common sense tell them that it was polite for them to avoid her? "Aren't you going to speak to me? Are you still angry?" He asked. "Angry?" Her eyes flew open, and she wanted to tell him that she was livid at him. He had been so shameless as to cheat on her and throw her out, and now he was showing up in front of her asking if she was angry. "I do not need to talk to you, so if you can please move over." She wanted to know how he had managed to get in there, but she did not want to be involved in a conversation with him. Hearing his voice alone was making her so angry that she wanted to scream, but that would only cause a scene for no reason. "Elara darling," Cora said, taking a step forward. Elara threw her head back with a surprised expression on her face. "What?" She could not help but force it out of her mouth. "Darling?" Cora had nev

Ezra walked into the hall and scanned for Elara. He was worried about her and he wanted to check on her. He was sure that if they had their relationship out in the open, then Micah would not have been that bold to do what he wanted to do. He saw her at an empty table all to herself and walked to her."Is this space taken?""Oh yeah, I am waiting for my very handsome boyfriend," she said, lifting her eyes to him with a smile. She gasped with her hand over her mouth as if she had just realised something. "Or you don't think he stood me up, do you?" she asked and he laughed."I highly doubt that; I mean, maybe he is still coming," he said, and she did not say anything in response. The table fell silent, but Ezra changed it almost immediately. "Are you fine?""Yeah, sure," she replied with a nod and a high-pitched voice."Yeah, that sponaro just told me that you are not fine," he said, mimicking her tone. She gasped and shook her head at him."That was just Micah being the most annoying i

"What are you doing here? Wait, did you just take a picture?" Elara asked as she took a step back from Ezra."Yes I did, and I should be asking you what you are doing here.""I am just out here to take some air.""Yeah right, I am sure the air was in Ezra's mouth and you were just using your tongue to bring it out." Isla had a judgy expression on her face, and a frown followed it. "I thought you weren't in a relationship with anyone.""I never said that.""Every time I caught you going on a date, you always dismissed it and told me that you were going on a solo date, or did you decide to stick your tongue down his throat just because?" Isla asked. She was going to pull the truth out of her sister no matter what it took."Well, I could have been going on solo dates for all you care, and I could be kissing him just for fun," Elara retorted."Kissing him just for fun?" Isla scoffed as she crossed her hand over her chest and pushed her head forward. "You aren't the kind of girl who would

"Are you and your sister usually like this?" Marcus asked as they walked in the same direction they had come from."Like how?""Bickering and at each other's throats," Marcus said, shocked that she did not understand what he was asking."Oh yeah, but don't worry about us; that's the way we are. Very soon we would be back to normal," Isla replied with a laugh. "It's all part of being a sibling. I did not let her get my brother earlier because I knew that he would take her side, and they both would gang up against me," she added."So rich siblings act the same as normal people.""What?" She didn't expect that to be his conclusion. "I mean, why not? We are just like every other sibling; we were born as children and grew up together, so yeah, if siblings who are poor act one way, I can bet that we would act the same way," she said."That is kind of cool. I mean, I like the dynamic of your family and all," he replied. She almost laughed, but she decided against it."So do you have siblings

Chole walked away from him as fast as she could; she hoped she had made herself clear about the matter. They were done, and there was nothing he could do to turn back the hands of time. If he wanted her to stay with him, then he should have either made sure she never found out his intentions or told her the truth from the start. If she had known from the start, maybe she would not have felt so played. She walked into the hall and looked around. She had been seething with anger when she saw Ronan come in with his dolled assistant, but she was not surprised. After all, she followed him everywhere, and if they had still been together, then they would have had to come together, but now the case was different. She straightened her long black dress and walked over to him. She stood by the table and greeted everyone around the table, stopping at Ronan and ignoring Noelle. Noelle did not even care about her actions because she truthfully did not want to be out there; she would rather be in be
