Marly POV I sat there listening to Alex go over everything with everyone. I could not help but feel sadness for him. Sadness that everyone was questioning his integrity. Marly POV I stepped forward cautiously, listening to the sounds around me. The panic in the voices of the medical team. The yelling of Carson’s father, trying to break free from Carson. Amidst the panic, I held up my hand, “Wait!” I commanded, wanting to draw attention to the fact that she still had a heartbeat.
