Lahat ng Kabanata ng I Am The Alpha's Rejected Mate : Kabanata 241 - Kabanata 250

Jayden's POVThe box wedged there in the shadow of the wardrobe, and I tried all I could to ignore it. I felt the snarling of my wolf inside me,urging and demanding–but I tried to force my gaze away.Instead,I turned toward the mirror that stood just ahead, my reflection glaring back at me. Jaw hard, and eyes that burned with the residue of the council's judgement was all I could see,and I let out a slow breath, forcing myself forward. A hand of mine brushed against the doorframe as if to leave–but then it struck. An inner impulse, sharper and fiercer than before. I heard my wolf's growl rise in my chest, and I quickly turned back–back to the damn silver of wood that my wolf simply refused to ignore. My fingers moved, more against my wheel as it pried the box free. I froze as soon as I saw it–a pregnancy kit.Air left my lungs in a harsh, silent gasp. The weight of it all,the meaning of it, all pressed down like stone Why...why would Ella possess a pregnancy kit.I still held it,still sta

Ella's POV The door clicked shut behind Jayden silently, and for a brief moment, I simply stood still, my eyes fixed on the door. His presence lingered like smoke after fire, quite thick and unshakable He surely had seen something, that I knew for sure. I could feel it in my bones. But... what exactly? Letting out a long breath, I finally tore my gaze away, then I turned towards the mirror across the chamber. My steps were slow, silence pressing against me with every move. When I finally got to the mirror, my reflection stared back at me–eyes sharp, yet faintly haunted. I sniffed the air, noting how it reeked deeply of sex. He noticed this too, but it shouldn't be a problem since I still had a spell on him. A heavy sigh escaped me once more, and I shut my eyes. The weight of it all–the years spent achieving this goal, the numerous werewolves I'd fucked to be here–pressed into me. But then, it was just a few more hours. "Finally," I murmured beneath my breath. Finally, I'd seat

Ella's POV"Tell me!" I repeated. I saw something in his eyes that flashed like doubt, more like a tinge of hypocrisy. But it was quickly gone, as his face twisted into that of desperation. "I do, Ella," he said in a pleading voice. "I fucking do!" I let his reply hang in the air, a challenge and a plea all at once. Then I let a slow, cruel smile touch my lips as I began taking steps forward. "You'd love this one, I promise." The silk of my gown hisses against the stone floor, and I had already gotten close enough to feel the heat rolling off his body. "Good boy," I murmured, as I let my cold fingers trace the line of his jaw, feeling the muscle there as it jumped under my touch. He didn't even flinch. No, not at all. But his eyes, those eyes I met stormy and furious when I first walked into the throne room, melted. My other hand slid down his chest, travelling over the head plane of his abdomen, until my palm pressed flat against the growing bulge in his trousers. He was fuck

Ella's POV"Victory," I hummed to myself, my lips slightly curving downwards as I strode through the hallway that linked the Throne Chamber to the heart of the Packhouse. My body still vibrated with the aftertaste of near power, lust and success. Jayden would be mine all through the night–this was more certain to me than ever.He was bound by his desire for my body, and this was far stronger than any iron cuff. The floors family echoed under my steps, the cool night air drifting in from the open arches as I reached the grand balcony. As I stepped out,I let the cool silver glow of the moon kiss my skin and stretch my wolf, and from that point, the full scale of what was about to unfold in a few moments spread itself before me.The open field at the center of the packhouse grounds shimmered with such beauty,as garlands of white were strung between iron posts. Long ceremonial tables were draped on oak-green cloth and it gleamed with polished silver and glassware. Everything was aligned i

Ella's POV "Father," I breathed, my voice clipped but steady, and my fingers trembling slightly as I held my phone close to my ears. "I'm still here," he responded after a pause. "I.. just can't believe this. I thought we had this all..." He continued, but my mind trailed off as I turned once more to the shattered pregnancy kit on the floor. It was still a secret between us, one that was mine and mine alone.... for now at least. "Ella–" "Yes, father," I replied all too quickly. "I'm still in... shock." "Take it easy on yourself. You wouldn't want to spoil the night." Silence hung for a brief moment, then I heard his voice once more. "Who else has access to the chamber?" "No one," I replied, pressing my claws into the wooden doorframe again. "No one dares!" "You are certain of this?" he pressed. "Yes," I answered firmly, "and all these wouldn't have been an issue if the intruder was caught by the CCTV cameras stationed in the hallway. But I checked my phone and I saw absolute
