Not the first time, not the last. The breath punched out of me in a sharp wheeze. "Still nothing?" Baldy grunted, wiping his knuckles with a stained cloth. He and brown-hair were taking turns now, trying to come up with ideas. Ones that would keep me alive but also inflict pain. "You're one stubborn bitch" he grit out. I coughed. Blood spat from my mouth in red flecks across the floor. Just more to add to the load I've lost.
