The Fox and her Hound의 모든 챕터: 챕터 31 - 챕터 39

He turned back, his eyes were actually glowing. His nostrils flared as he struggled to speak, “You think I'm doing this on purpose?” rushing up to me, I don't know where this strength was coming from but I was going to stand against him. He was going to work for whatever it was I was willing to give. “If I had any control over this trust me sweetheart-” “What you wouldn't be thinking about jumping me right now?” I smirked finally standing up to him, my arms crossed under my breasts. I still wasn’t sure how far I was willing to take it but I fucking did his job of getting me nakes already.  “You’re in my fucking room right now dear. I suggest you act somewhat appreciative of my generosity and willpower.”  &

She slept on the couch. I didn't mind it; she could have slept anywhere she wanted honestly. What I minded was the damn itch I had all over because I hadn't spent more than two hours over the last month as a wolf. It was far too unnatural for me. I didn't know how she'd react to me needing to be in my wolf form more than the average pack member and tonight I needed to sleep. It wasn't something I expected her to understand either, this was just something about me in particular. Oliver and Andre never had that urge or need to shift but they also hadn't gone through their first shift like I had. I undressed, adjusted the air conditioning to full blast before shifting, and climbed into bed. I could hear her out there though, that was the worst of it. My muscles were finally relaxing and I didn't feel so out of place and yet I really needed her next to me.&n

The room was less than impressive given the amount of money spent in clothes alone on these people. There were five others around the table when Elias and I entered. They were already seated and discussing something when they all at once went quiet.Five werewolves seated and only one chair remaining. Wonderful, looks like there wouldn't be any room for me at this function. Elias took my hand wrapping it around my arm and pulled me to the empty seat, pulling it out and giving me a halfway bow before offering me the chair. I nodded only because these heels were killing me already. He decided to stand behind me clearing his throat to signal to the room the meeting was going to start. “Why call us now?” A thin pale woman spoke, not waiting for Elias to get a word in edgewise. She had overly bleached hair and brilliantly golden eyes behind a set of worn framed glasses. Thin lines on her bright red suit matched her nails painted an ashy grey and her voice was one of age and authority bu

“What do you mean?” I turned to meet Alice as she took a seat.“Yeah,” Andre glared, “how would every orphan here know and not me?”“Mayne if you were around here as much as us you'd hear what we do.” She shrugged while making herself comfortable.“Okay,” I rolled my eyes. “Will you tell me what happened?”Nodding she settled in, “Well Alpha he was going around asking us what we knew about our families for a while. Some of us couldn't answer and so he started to bring in other wolves. Interviewing them secretly you know. It all was brought to a head one day when he brought in that Hugo Argent guy. He really did dress up super nice too for this meeting, I was hanging out on the stairs watching it with another kid. Anyway, he asked questions about Mallory, and her parents. The questioning went on for a long time, at the end of it I was kind of getting the feeling that Argent guy was lying. So Alpha, he said he could prove that he was a suitable human and started arguing with him about h

The next morning I helped Andre give the kids the classic Wallace breakfast before sending them off to school. While cleaning up I saw Elias sitting with Alice and another young man. I hadn't gotten his name but he looked a little ragged. I turned to Andre. “Who’s Elias talking to?”Andre looked up and a big smile flashed across his face, “looks like we're going to get a howler next full moon.”“A what?” I snapped. Oliver laughed sliding back into a seat at the bar area, “new wolf. He just moved in a few nights ago. This is Elias's first chance to talk to him properly.”“Moved in?” They both nodded to me and Oliver continued, “the kids about to change go through this feral stage right before. They get combative, unpredictable, and so some families drop them off here until after they shift. Elias talks to them and helps put their minds at ease before the full moon.”“Its pretty much the main thing an alpha does. We all think it's the thing he excels at most. Well,” Andre snickered,
