After dinner I followed Elias up to the bedroom that was going to be mine for the foreseeable future. I looked at the various paintings and pictures that were on the wall, clearly near original to the house. Farmers and their families, large families. Families that just continued to grow and grow as each woman had five kids and they all have five kids. Then all of the sudden it just stopped as we neared the top of the stairs. There was an old picture, not nearly as old as the others this one had color to it and wasn’t browning. There were three kids in the picture they were hanging on each other and looked like they had just gotten back from some camping trip together. I passed before the hour was done. I don't understand why he was so persistent but I had lost consciousness sometime around the forty minute mark. When I woke back up he was just gone. It was as if her legs just gave up. I had been watching her so I knew she wasn’t tired, this was something else. One moment she was there, she was smiling, she was happy! The next nothing. It was as if someone had flipped a switch and suddenly she wasn't there anymore. My wolf was going crazy unable to sense her. Constantly I had to reassure myself that she was still here.
