Melody’s POV Hope had called her husband back to confirm if they had a plan or not, then she was able to sneak to phone back to the security office. She normally just put it back in Gaston’s room, but with him being in the cells it made no sense for it to wind up there. It was easier for her to do that though since Dominic had the head security guard check the seamstress’s things when she arrived. The seamstress arrived there early after breakfast to make clothing for me had been hired by Dominic. He had everything set up in his office, watching me the whole time as I was measured and fitted from head to toe. It didn’t pass my attention that some of the color samples held against my skin were satins and laces in various shades of white. I had rolled my eyes then; whatever he had planned for me to wear I would never get the chance to put on, hopefully. The little seamstress, Dimitria, was an omega like hope. She flinched and cussed under her breath any time Dominic changed

Melody’s POV “Melody!” Teddy wrapped me in his arms, holding me tightly like I would vanish into the wind. I couldn’t help but cry, I had missed him through everything. “Shhh, my love. It’s okay, I have you. He held me tighter, letting sobs turn into quiet tears. When I finally stopped, he tilted my face up by my chin with his hand; staring deep into my eyes. “I’m never letting you go again.” He kissed me with passion, his lips melding to mine in a sweet dance of love. The taste of him was like fresh made buttercream and vanilla; his scent of tobacco and spiced whiskey heady to my senses. “I missed you.” I sighed as he drew away, kissing the lingering tears from my face. “I miss see you too.” He picked me up, setting me down on a counter behind me. Looking around, I was in my bakery again, the sounds of the oven and the sights of desserts greeting me around us. Teddy started to trail kisses down my neck, removing my apron and smock. “What if someone sees?” I asked as h

Frank’s POV We were sitting with Alpha Theodor Senior going over the plan one last time when Teddy entered the room. “We have a problem, there is a ‘Rachel’ working for Black Haven in our midst. They gave Jessica wolfsbane to poison me.” Fritz and I looked at each other, neither of us expecting Teddy to come back saying something like that. “So there is a second one….” Teddy’s father grabbed his chin in thought. “It makes sense, we’ve found a couple of bombs like you said we would Theodor but we had no idea who was feeding them our routs for scouting… hmmm.” “How many Rachel’s are in your pack?” I asked out of curiosity. “Four, and I have a pretty good idea of who it is too.” Alpha Theodor Senior looked into the distance for a second and then grinned. “She’ll be here in a minute. In the meantime, Theodor, can you lay on the floor really quickly? Act like your stomach is hurting too.” Fritz and I moved our chairs to the side and out of the way, eager to see what wo

Melody’s POV The two men were busy ripping out cupboards and cabinets when we entered, one of them stopping to come and stand in front of us. I could hear Dominic growl a little in warning until he saw the fresh mate mark as well, his wolf calming down some. “Hey little lady, you must be the boss of this project.” He held out a hand for me to shake it, Dominic gripped my arm more tightly as he glared at the outstretched appendage. The wolf, taking the hint, let his arm drop. “I’m Frank, the other wolf there is Fritz; we’re to go by your specifications for the remodel here.” He then proceeded to walk me and Dominic around the kitchen, being professional in his explanation on equipment to install and measurements for new counters. “I have these sample cabinets for you to see in person, as well as this color pallet for different finishes and tiles for everything.” Frank pulled out booklets for everything, letting me go through. “Sir, I have an update to report.” Guy inter

Melody’s POV Another bullet tore into the side of the van, nearly missing Fritz’s head. “Damned wolves won’t stop shooting!” The omega threw another tool box out of the vehicle, aiming for a guy following on a motorcycle. It connected and sent the man flying off the bike. “Not that circular saw!” Frank was driving like a madman, and I could have sworn he was crying over each tool that was thrown out of the van. “We’re coming in hot; maybe five minutes or less!” Fritz had called our escape party, the cellphone going to shreds as another bullet took it out. “Melody; breathe. In and out, stay calm and focus on my voice.” Hope was trying her best to calm me down, which was easier said than done. My body was on fire and I couldn’t stop panting from the heat. I itched everywhere: especially between my legs. “Goddess, make it stop…” another spasm rocked me as a wave of heat hit me again. Hope and the tag along had climbed out shortly after the van took out the gate, s
