KAYDENI was so worried when I called Kelly this afternoon, but she never picked up my call. But that didn't stop me ,I called her office and they said she never showed up there. What the heck was going on?Lily was supposed to be back from school by now but when I went to her school, they said she never showed up, this got me worried as I pulled up my laptop. Pressing a few things on it I was able to locate them, they were at the hospital which was weird.I drove there at an immense speed, different theories running through my mind as I wondered what had happened. "Look baby, I know it sounds like I'm invading your privacy but it's important we have one in each of us, even I have it on me so just calm down" I told her as she pouted facing another direction, she was such a drama queen. As we arrived on the 155th floor, we both got out and walked to the room Lily was in. As we opened the door, I was shocked to see lily on the floor crying."Baby, are you okay?" I rushed to her as I pi

KAYDENI walked back and forth to subside my anger. I was this close to killing him right there, and that would be bad for business, bad for everything I've worked for in the past few years. "Where were we? You might want to relax, your clenching and unclenching is doing you more harm than good." I told him, gesturing at his now white, now a shade of blue fist. "How did you feel though? When you found out- what is his name again? My bad, Jax wasn't your son?" I carried another chair, placing it in front of him, at a distance though. Be prepared for anything and I know he will try to attack anytime soon, that's how low my brother is. "His name is Brown and he's my son!. " He said, gritting his teeth. I scoff at the sight. If only he knew what he looked like. "You look like a rabbit, a crippled one to be exact." I said to him, unable to hold back. "I'm hoping you haven't been doing that in the presence of my subject? No wonder they were quick to agree to spy on you for me. " I chuc

EZEKIEL'S POVWhen he had walked in here, I thought the medication given to me by the clan's doctor was already in action. Then he sat down, spoke a lot of words and even hit me a couple of times, that was when it was clear to me. Kayden had returned, my day reckoning was here. I can't just let him take what I've worked for. I prayed, I really prayed that he died in that dungeon, but the bastard always knew how to rise from the ashes, I'm talking from experience. The lie that finally got him in prison wasn't the only thing I tried, I tried poison but failed, instead my pet rabbit ate it in his place and was disfigured. I tried assassination, he always came back, unscathed and when I reached out to my men, nothing, they were all dead. I was running out of ideas and I just came up with that. I was always known as the 'mouthpiece' of the moon goddess, it was a lie, but why not use it to my advantage. So, I whispered a few lies here and there. About him being a cursed alpha who woul

KAYDEN'S POVWhen a wolf is at the edge of going feral, they start to lose themselves. First, it's the memories. Second, it's the unfiltered rage. Third, loneliness. I'm not feral, I have gotten to that stage, almost felt what it meant to lose my mind when the loneliness got a little bit too much. The hallucinations began and I kept holding on to memories. Most of my memories weren't happy, I kept seeing my mother's pretty smiles and replaying her laughter in my head, until I couldn't anymore. Then I kept hanging on to the little trip I went on with my dad and how he kept giving me the histories on a sterling pack. Then that also faded, what was left was Kelly. I held on to the tiny crush and feelings I had for her. I can recall that lasting for a while till I got to see her again. I snapped out from the trip down feral land. Made new memories with her and Lily, and that was it. Although I still get signs, hallucinations and all, it's better than before. The doctor set out his med

EZEKIEL'S POV"He doesn't get to come back for a position I already took from him. " I said. "He does, if the position was his in the first place." An elder chipped in and I felt like going berserk on him, chopping off his head with my teeth. "Vulgar thoughts." My wolf whispered to me and I widened my eyes in shock. Having vulgar thoughts and killer instinct was one of the symptoms of being a wild one. So, is it true? I'm really losing my mind. Why won't I? First, it's Eve giving me troubles and always nagging. Second, it's discovering her child isn't mine. There's nothing more heartbreaking than having your wish and it turned out not to be yours in the end, the constant thoughts that have been running through my head, it was mostly about killing her, there was nothing merciful about it. Then the loneliness, I would deny it with my last drop of sweat, but it was there. Eve no longer had time for me, when I met her for her woman duties, she always shoved me away, saying she was ti
