Chapter 24Kayla's POV When we finally stopped at the hotel, I was so relieved. I was exhausted after being on the road for so long. Don’t get me wrong, I like to travel, but dang, an eighteen-hour drive just wears you out. Dad had gotten everyone their own room, so I got to relax by myself. I like it that way. Taking a shower, I started to relax, drifting off to sleep. I began having this weird dream: I was running with a pack of wolves. I didn’t know where we were going until we stopped in front of other wolves that had red eyes, drooling out the mouth. There was something wrong with them, I thought.
