My throat, dry and parched, screams for water... even just a single drop.And then I hear it... footsteps, heavy and solid, like a man’s.He’s coming this way.I jump up, the room spinning a little with the sudden movement and my lack of food and water, but I use what strength I have to pull the chair back from the door. I hope it’s Nelson, coming to take me to get something to eat and drink, or to at least bring it to me.The metal door creeks open, and I have to cover my eyes against the blinding light that spills in.“Follow me,” the man commands, and I’m more than happy to obey, even though I can barely see
