Semua Bab Bite: Bab 1 - Bab 10

Fuck my fucking life. I stand in front of Lycroft College, my heart pounding so loud I’m worried all the werewolves inside can hear. “Don’t just stare.” Alpha Rick commands, yanking my box after me. “You didn’t tell me there would be so many wolves,” I say back, and he heaves the heaviest sigh I’ve ever heard. “This is a werewolf town, Olivia. Of course, there are going to be wolves” He mutters. Great. Like everything else in my life, I'm the only living, breathing human to exist. Like he can smell my panic, he adds, “Just wait for Hunter, he’ll take you to Principal Watson and protect you for the rest of the year. Everything will be fine .” I spy a poster of a large wolf stepping on a human’s skull. The bleak headline reads, “We Always Conquer.” I gulp. Does that look fine to him? A boy by the poster spots me, and I freeze right as his eyes widen. “GET LOST!” Alpha Rick barks, and the boy scurries down the corridor, but it’s too late. He’s already aware tha

Predators. That’s what I’m surrounded by. No matter how nice this office is. No matter how pristine their suits are. I cannot forget that with just one bite, all four members of the council have the power to end my life. And they will. Or… most of them will. One offers me a sympathetic smile, and he has the same black hair and kind blue eyes as his son, Hunter. The legendary Dillon West. Alpha Rick’s best friend and Beta. Principal Watson sits between the 4 council members, staring at me like he can’t believe I’m real. “Miss Blackwood, apologies for making you start the semester so late. We only wanted to make sure you turned 19 before we let your… deal set in.” I shift in my seat. My deal? Right. Cause I had so much of a say over whether these animals fucking kill me. A woman with a pinched face scrunches her nose at me, “You are a strange thing aren’t you? Whose stupid idea was it to let you into Lycroft?” “Watch your mouth, Roanna.” Dillon snaps, surprising me.

Fuck, she smelt so good. “You’ve outdone yourself, Rye!” Clarissa shouts over the music. We grind in sync with other couples on the dancefloor. I control her hips, bucking against her ass with my hardened dick. But she’s not the one I want to sink my erection into. Olivia. It doesn’t make sense. My brain hasn’t had space for any thoughts except partying, pussy, and Talon for years. Suddenly, some human waltz into Hunter’s life and I'm getting a hard on every three minutes thinking about her.I grab Clarissa by her neck and yank her into me. She bares her throat for me to nip and lick while I squeeze one of her huge boobs. It's not enough. I can still scent Cinnamon and Strawberry. But Clarissa is clearly dripping for me, I can smell it. Usually, it's enough to have me shoving my dick in her mouth, but today I feel so disconnected. Finally, she whispers, “Don’t you want to take me somewhere private?” “Oh fuck yes,” maybe when we’re fucking I'll get my senses back. She grins l

The door closes behind them, but the threat rings in my ears.*Trust me, human. I haven’t even begun with you.*All I wanted was to meet Talon, and the person who was meant to introduce me to him just walked out with the wolf that assaulted me.My chest constricts with panic. What if there is no Talon? What if Ryker lured me here to mess with me?“Is she… breathing?” Someone asks above me.The music blares on, but no one is dancing anymore. I'm too scared to look up or peel myself off the sticky floor.“What do we do?” Someone else whispers, and there’s a chorus of confusion that makes me want to die. Finally, a girl drawls, “I say we learn more about the human, just like Axel.”A chill washes over me, “please don’t-“Sharp nails wrap in my blonde hair and yank me forward till my neck snaps. I face startling, icy blue eyes and a scrunched nose.“Do you speak?” The girl breathes in my face.Afraid, I nod.Her lips crook into a snakey smile, “Good. I’m Clarissa,

Cinnamon and strawberry. Every time I blink, I see her. That creature. That… that thing. Staring up at me with those brown eyes, trying to seduce me into forgetting how evil the humans are. I will never forget, not after what they took from me during the war. “Axel!” Ryker cries, ushering me into a seedy bar, “He’s in here!” Those are the only three words Ryker has said to me since the Olivia incident. I fear she’s getting into his head the way she has gotten into Hunter’s. Goddess, I might shoot myself. Or her. Anyone that keeps me from seeing my pack care for a human. I rush in after him, staring around the run-down bar. My eyes catch Talon’s white hair within seconds. He’s out of place here. Too prim and proper even while he’s passed out at the bar table. Ryker and I rush to his side. I have to push away an alarming number of empty glasses blocking his thin face. When I press a hand to his pale forehead, it’s cold. Too cold. “Ryker, find his
