JUNE; I opened my eyes slowly, they were as heavy as rocks, every view came in hazy and blurry. Voices reached me, not loud but not distant, I tried to sit up and that was when I realized an IV needle was sitting right on my hand. My eyes moved, trailing the IV line to the drip dropping slowly. My gut twisted in that ugly manner. I turned my face to the other side, Ronan stood up at once, bending over me, while his hand held my shoulders softly, helping me lie back down. “Where am I?” I asked softly, my eyes on his face.
