The Alpha's Chance At Love

Moving to a new town was not an easy decision for Jasmine. Moving away from her family and old friends had not been easy. But she was tired of her old life, packing her bags and her daughter's, moving to a new place and a new job, creating new memories.

The town was large enough to have the basic necessities and yet still small enough that one does not feel lost amongst strangers. It was a quaint town, nestled in a forested valley.

She has been living here already three weeks, settling in, and enjoying the little condo that she and Sofia lived in. Her work, as a secretary, at the local law firm had the perfect working conditions. Her boss was a firm gentle giant.

The best part, there was a daycare at the law firm, with great staff to watch over the little ones and Jasmine didn't need to worry about her daughter, if she had to work late.

"How is my little Rosebud doing this morning?" Jasmine looked down at her daughter, happily gurgling in her cot. Her daughter was a welcome blessing, Jasmine always wanted to be a mother and looking at her daughter, she could not but help smile at the wonder before her. Sofia was a beautiful little girl, with her dark locks, rosy cheeks, rosebud mouth and blue eyes.

"Me up." Sofia gurgled.

"Yes, you are," Jasmine said, "How about we get up and get ready for our trip."

Taking her daughter from her cot, Jasmine got them both ready for their trip. Buckling her daughter into the car seat, she drove towards their destination.

Arriving at the mall, she parked her car, taking out Sofia and putting her into her pram, buckling her securely in. She strode towards the mall entrance, smiling as Sofia babbled and waved at every person they passed.

Making her way around the mall, Jasmine looked for the children's clothes store. Sofia was growing so fast and with winter approaching she needed to get her some warm clothing.

Finding it, Jasmine walked in, looking at the large assortment of clothing for all age types. Browsing through the racks of clothing, taking a few items that she considered functional and yet cute, she was startled when a voice spoke, "Oh...what a beautiful little baby!"

Turning towards the voice, Jasmine saw a teenage girl hunkering down towards Sofia, a beautiful young girl with dark brown hair, smiling she responded, "Thank you."

"What's her name?" The girl asked.

"Sofia."

"Hello Sofia," the girl turned back towards the little girl in the pram, she was instantly drawn towards the lady and the baby. She had not seen them here before, so they must be new to the town. She wondered why her wolf was drawn towards them. Perhaps she should ask her father or her twin brother.

"I'm Ellie," standing up, she turned towards the lady, extending her hand out for a handshake, sniffing the air discreetly, noting that the lady was human and so was the child. Both mother and child were beautiful to look at, both having the same features, dark hair and blue eyes. Though the mother's hair was longer.

"Hello, I'm Jasmine and you've met my daughter, Sofia." Taking Ellie's hand, feeling a connection to the young girl before her.

"You must be new to this town, I've known most people around here and I haven't seen you around," Ellie queried.

"Yes, we've been here almost three weeks."

"Cool, welcome to Hollow Springs."

"Thank you.' Jasmine smiled at the young girl.
