Draco (The Last Dragon Prince)

Third person POV:

Year 920 AD

A slender figured women dressed in pure white thin silk gown and open honey blond hairs was on bare foot run inside a deep dark forest, her waist down part of gown was stained with black and crimson blood while hem of her dress was completely drenched in wet mud and dirt, her tender looking pale foots kept getting bruised and bleeding on every step that she took  ahead on thorn and stony ground, her oval shaped face was stained with her tear while her forehead and neck were covered in warm sweats, her lips and body kept trembling as gush of freezing wind kept touching her skin, under the darkness of cold lonely night she looked utterly vulnerable and pitiful however her aura had some different enigmatic effect, her eyes were teary however there was some unknown might that she was holding back.

she kept running ahead with all her force but she was not alone, she was clutching a new born baby draped in red silk fabric  close to her chest when “DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE TO RUN AWAY FROM US RUBINA…. THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD RUN AND HIDE AWAY FROM US” one of four men who were chasing her screamed in his vicious voice, all of four mans who were chasing behind Rubina were armed with metal sword and metal shield, their body was covered in Iron armor, they looked like strictly trained soldier of some kingdom who were large in term of both weight and size however Rubina ignored their warning and kept running farther and farther from them.

Their hunter and prey chase continued until one point where Rubina accidently twisted her ankle and fell flat on her stomach but she was quick to encircle her both tightly arm around the baby in her arm in order to secure it however she ended up getting her head harshly injured on nearby spiky rock “AAAAAAAhhhhhh……..hhhhhaaaaaaa” she squealed in pain but quickly pressed her lips in between her teeth’s to keep her voice low, a trail of warm blood started oozing out from her lips as she lightly wriggled on stinky wet mud covered forest land, her painfully squeal was very weak but it was sufficient to attract all four soldiers towards her direction, in merely couple of seconds they all stood in front of Rubina at not so far distance, they all smirked viciously seeing her lying helplessly on dirty ground entirely covered in mud.

“HAHAHAHAH…. Look at you…. how wretched you look now, BITCH ?” one of four men said as Rubina turned her body to face them, she was now having a big wound on top left corner of her forehead which was bleeding out her crimson blood “Don’t…. Co …me…..near me…. Don’t, Or…. Or… you’ll regret…” Rubina warned them with her weak voice but fierce tone, her vision was bit blurred but she was able to see atrocious faces of her attacker, hearing Rubina warning all four soldiers started laughing hysterically “Look at her, she still have courage to talk to us with clout… hahahah” one of four man laughed and spitted mouthful of saliva in Rubina direction.

Rubina was disgusted by their words and actions yet she was putting all her effort in protecting her baby “Let me tell you BITCH… we never liked you, no one every liked you, ever since you stepped on our kingdom soil we loathed you… but you had some strong bone to stay here among humans, but now…. It will be over and we will start it with you fucking daughter…..” another solider said and extend his filthy hand “Hand us you daughter and we shall grant you a painless death” he added with his dark demeanor.

Rubina felt a shiver ran down her entire body as she gather words of vicious man who was standing in front of her and threatening her to kill her and new born daughter, at that very instant Rubina knew that she had to do everything she could to save her daughter because of which “You have no idea who you are talking to… I remained calmed because of my husband; I kept myself in control for sake of my love but you….. you all misjudged my quietness as my weakness, now… I warn you again, stay away from me or its consequence will be your DEATH” Rubin again warned them in more severe tone “This motherfucking bitch is now getting worst, let me teach you how to speak to a man before killing you and your bastard child” one of four solider said as her marched in her direction “I warned you all to stay away but now let me show you…. how lethal I can be when I am threaten….” Rubina said and quickly stood up straight with her wobbly legs, streams after stream of bloods were dripping down from her forehead wound yet her forest green eyes were filled with unknown supremacy, her physical state look utterly pitiful however there was sudden coldness on her face.

Seeing one of those solider heading towards her Rubina gently slide and tugged her baby into her left arm and waved her right hand fingers in mid air and started chanting some sacred words under her breath, in split second there were tiny green colored glowing sparks started appearing around her finger seeing which all four of her attacked stood rooted to their place however before they could react anything further Rubina hastily waved her hand in their direction and in blink of eye muddy ground under their feet got cracked into two half, just like some tree leaf that was tear apart from middle….. “YOU SORCERESS…. WHAT ARE YOU DOING…..” one solider screamed as entire forest felt wave of thunder that was merging out from Rubina fingers, one soldier who  was heading towards Rubina instantly fell down in crack and died while remaining three jumped away from cracked ground and rapidly marched on Rubina with their sharp swords in their hands.

Seeing remaining three men running in her direction Rubina again waved her hand “Vistentious corentousers operus, hourtunsus boratielatys” Rubina said chanting another spell which created unexpected loud rattling sound of leaves around them, gust after gust of cold winds started blowing with surprising alacrity, suddenly in blink of an eye all trees around then were turned alive and started killing remaining three men’s one at each time by poking their sharp braches straight through their heart head and neck, it looked like a blooded massacre as brutally and unevenly butchered bodies of remaining three Soldiers remained intact on monstrous trees that killed them.

After all four of solider were killed Rubina released breath that she was holding while all bloodshed, she felt her limbs and legs heavily tremble after everything around her was calmed… she quickly again waved her hand in air and allowed thunder to settled down and all trees to go back to their original state as her eyes remained fixed on butchered bodies of soldiers, a drop of tear escaped her left eye as she kept recalling events of earlier that day, she had never once thought that her life would change this way however this was outcomes of all her mistakes and choices that she had made which turned her destiny, at that very point Rubina started regretting herself however there was nothing that she could do to change it, think of it she gently composed herself.

Couple of minutes later when Rubina felt collected, she turned back to continue her running however the instant she turned she saw a arrow that came flying in her direction but before she could react anything it pierced right through her timidly pounding heart “AAAhhhh……..” was the only small whimper that left her mouth as she lowered her gaze to arrow that was half way pricked in her chest, a stain of blood started was forming around it as fierce fire burning pain started forming in her body.

Rubina consciously gulped down her own saliva and fell down on her knees with a loud thud “Ahh….” she whimpered, her mouth hanged open, her body started shaking when she heard a small delicate cry of her newborn baby and like any other mother she overlooked her pain and hushed her daughter.

Rubina kept staring at innocent face of her new born daughter when two feet’s covered with royal leather boots appeared in front of her, Rubina quickly turned her gaze up as a flash of pain and betrayal rushed through her eyes, she kept staring at familiar man with golden bow, he was standing in front of her with expressionless face.

“Why?” Rubina questioned him “I had to… for protecting Humans from your creatures” he said “They never hurt you… and your.. kind...” Rubina said as she took glance at her daughter “Yes they can never hurt us…  unless and until that child is dead” he added and threw away his bow on ground and pulled out his sword “We are protector of Humans realm and I will not let that child destroy our peace….. I will not allow her to elevate those fires spilling creature again on this land” he said and tighten his hold on his sword.

“She is fated…. Yo.. you cannot change that, she was born with purpose….” Rubina said as tears started rolling down her eyes in meantime she again started playing with her fingers in air and tiny sparks started appearing out of them unknown to her attacker.

“She have to die…” saying that her attacker quickly marched in her direction and swung his sword high in air, his sharp blades were about to slice both Rubina and her child however that very instant a bright blinding light appeared in front of him with a loud roar,

Couple of seconds later when light faded he saw Rubina and her baby were nowhere to be found, it’s like they both disappeared in thin air, like a mad man he turned his head from side to side as wrath started filling up in his body “RUBINAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa………………………… YOU CANNOT SAVE THAT CHILD, I WILL KILL HER, SHE WILL DIE RUBINAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…………………” he screamed with burning rage by staring at a big burn on ground where Rubina was kneeling earlier but what angered him more was that burn was in shape of a fire spilling DRAGON.
