Prologue
“You got married?”
“Yes,”
“When, where?”
“In Las Vegas weeks ago.” Shocked distraught gasps echoed,
“What does he do?” the barrage of questions seemed to never end.
“um uh…he is…a..uh.." Sacha found herself nervously stuttering in reply, from knowing how they were all soon going to react, once she answered.
"I`m a car mechanic, ma'am.” she quickly turned to her husband as he answered for himself, a sexy respectful smile on his face.
But as soon as he finished his reply, only dead utter silence immediately filled the whole room. Only the sound of silverware cluttering to the floor could be heard.
“Honey please tell me that I am not hearing right! Because if it's true, I may just use my own hands to KILL MY ONLY DAUGHTER!” her high-class mother`s enraged shriek, quickly blasted through the room.
Whereas her aunt now had her hand clutched at her heart. As if she was about to faint and had just heard something distastefully scandalous.
“Sacha will you stop joking around, can't you see that your mother is about to have a mental breakdown and your aunt a heart attack!” Her step-father admonished with a glare. Sharply aimed at her and at her new husband while trying to hold back his enraged wife.
Her uncle was also now giving her a disappointed stare. While her cousins had smug looks and were laughing under their breaths whispering snide remarks aimed at them.
“That's the thing...I am not joking around! I did get married and this here is MY Husband,” Sacha finally snapped back, annoyed by how over-dramatic they were all being. Acting as if she had committed the worst sin ever.
But seeing how uncomfortable her husband was now feeling by all this, she quickly clutched his hand to offer comfort. This family gathering to announce their marriage was already turning into a nightmare from hell.
